  1. Happens to me too, no need to worry. It is sooo cute when they do it though. Even if it does get everywhere

  3. NAW! I love it!
  4. Id love to hear that answer too. I am in the exact same position and I have never seen them mate either. But I do know they were breeding a good few months ago, but none hatched
  5. well i would consider Levi tame now. but not bonded with us.
  6. I know how to tame birdos. But its the bonding side of it. McKenzie was totally and utterly in love with us. And I want this bird to be the same too. Im worried that if I spend to much time with him, he will get annoyed and want to get away from us.
  7. Okays, so now that I have little Levi home, I want to give him the best chance of bonding with me. I need to get this right from day one! So any advice and tips would be great. Im on holidays so i have all day to work with him. He isnt a very flighty bird at all. Is happy to sit on your finger for a while. But seems relieved to get back to his cage. SO advice away PRETTY PLEASE! Cheers in advance
  8. Ahhh McKenzie wouldnt touch harrisons pellets (to hard for him or something). Never knew harrisons came in a mash. I personally am a fan on pellets. When McKenzie was on them he would get pellets, vegies, Egg and Biscuit, and seeds for training. He had Doctor Macks Pellets: http://www.drmacs.com/products-birddiets.php They are organic with a short shelf life so you know they are fresh. With only natural preservatives etc.
  9. NAW! I love them all. What a good looking bunch of birds. Really!
  10. I still just cant get over that opalines head! OH my! I mean... OWCH!
  11. My breeding pair our outside in their cabinet. Levi (yes he has a name now heheh), is inside. Now I just need to learn how to do an awesome signature! What program do you use?
  12. Its easy when you only have one bird and one cage! hahaha
  13. I certainly hope so. Rookie was the same but then couldnt wait to get off our finger. Hmm. Cross fingers! HAAHHA
  14. I thought Vinnie and Merlin were blue? This guy is totaly purple! heheh He is lovely. The pics dont do him justice
  15. Heheheh. Didnt notice that!. I think Liv and I are the only ones in love with you little no name!
  16. If your doing as much as you can then thats Great! But just be prepared for her not to be as tame as you wished. But keep trying, im sure she appreciates it when you talk to her and offer her yummy things!
  17. I fancy the albino hen, and the blue spangle. All very nice though dave!
  18. NO WAY! Hillarious. Would it kill your birds too tho?
  19. What kitty litter do you use? I use breeders choice. Its a recycled newspaper type.
  20. its quicker and humaner to just knock them on the head. Just not very nice for you
  21. FANTASTIC idea!
  22. As liv said use a tissue too. Its okay to get powder everywhere, just not in his face and eyes. Once the bleeding stops make sure its not a massive cut and see what the exact damage is. If you have stopped the bleeding and it looks okay then you can let him back in his cage. But first take out whatever has caused the cut and look for any more potential damage.
