The nest box opens from the top. But the concave is under the entry hole. Will it be okay just to leave her to nest on the flat wooden bottom of the box? Maese: I think its tiny. Lol. I dont have anything to compare it too.

I was orginally thinking a bacterial infection of some sort... But im stumped. Do they get fruits and vegies? Any supplements? What do you use on the bottom of the cage? Does anyone smoke outside?Diet may be an issue if all you are feeding them is trill. "Supermarket" brand seed is usually very poor quality.Pass. LolIm sure the mods will be able to help you. (the only problem with so many people here to help is we all post at the same time and end up repeating things... or looking like an idiot )

How often do you change their food and water? What do you feed them (include brand names)? Do you worm them? Do you mite and lice them? Do rodents have access to the avairy?

In order to determine if its safe for them to stay with the folks, we need to find out why they may be dying. Could you get us pictures of the aviary etc and tell us what you do for them every day. Yer I know, what a shame! The thing I love about pet budgies over show budgies, is that they get distinct round spots, and only three of them. I loved watching mak grow and develop his "man spots" one by one. heheheh.

Dont expect to catch a feral cat in a trap straight away, they are heaps clever. It takes time to "train" them into into it. I know with really ferral things, they need leave crates with food out for a few weeks to months just so she gets used to it, and thinks its safe - then change it to the trap. But you'll never catch her twice

Well she hasnt dropped yet, but no signs of stress.

Its so scary when I look at them and see how small they are. Its like the could just drop dead - even though they are healthy.

My bushies were like 20-30 grams. SOooo tiny! heheh
