Last year we spoilt him to much got him way to many presents and half of them he never even touched they are still in the boxes... Needless to say they are going to the Salvo's this year. We decided better off getting one good present rather than a heap of little ones. With times getting tougher its getting harder and harder unfortunately.

I've just got this whole image of Kaz and Ken dressed up in SWAT gear and throwing the CO2 Canisters into the roof with gas masks on and then after the smoke starts firing automatic rifles for 10 minutes all over the roof... Good luck with that KAZ!

natural perches are best but you can use anything round. as long as the are thick enough that they won't bend when the budgies land on them... they will want to be firm otherwise the budgies won't mate. Have you thought about where you are going to put the nest box?? It needs to be somewhere that is easily accessable because you will need to check 2 times a day (morning and night) on the chicks... Good luck with it.

Ummm well I'm not sure what the visual differences between a DF spangle and a DEC... so I'm not sure if they are df spangle or what... they look completely white to me is that right or do they have some colouring??

Genetics really isn't my thing but I know to make sure you get lacewings you should pair with another lacewing... Its a sex linked gene... if you want split lacewing cocks and lacewing hens pair with others.... I am sure if you search through the forum there would be a lacewing breeding chart giving you the expected outcomes with pairings... might be worth a look...
