I'm Looking For Stamps
Hi Maesie, my daughter also collects stamps and I'm pretty sure she would have some doubles she'd happily give up. Can't guarantee what country they'd be from but if you want them I'll get her to go through her collection and see what she's got.

Baby Budgies On The Way...
Hi there, I have this pair down to breed... Casper an albino (parentage unknown) and Mocha a skyblue YF2 rec. pied cinnamon spangle Mocha's parents are YF2 skyblue opaline spangle split rec. pied hen and a green and yellow greywing cock split blue, ino, cinnamon, and rec. pied. They currently have 1 egg laid on the 25/7 and if all goes to plan maybe another 1 today. Could someone give me an idea on what to expect from this pair even without knowing anything about Casper. I'm very excited as it's been well over a year since we've had babies. Thanks

My New Addition
Thanks, feather is removed. Never removed one before so I was a bit stressed I would hurt him. I think it hurt me more than him. He is now named...ta dah meet Cyrus. I've got a 14 yo who is made keen on Miley Cyrus...hence the name. I've got to stop letting my kids name the birds.

My New Addition
Hi, just thought I'd show my new budgie. He's a very pretty dom pied. Not sure if his colour is skyblue though as it seems a bit darker than that. As yet he remains unamed, we're waiting to see if his personality jumps out. In this last photo you can see he has a broken feather. Should I remove it or will it drop out itself? Also the breeder said he was between 6 and 9 months, would this be right. His irises are visible and bright. Thanks

My Opaline Greygreen Split To Lacewing Cocks
Yeah that sounds good. Maybe a couple of girls to encourage them as long as you feel comfortable with doing that. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and them.

My Opaline Greygreen Split To Lacewing Cocks
Maybe just giving them the space where they can practice and get some confidence will help. If there is no physical reason they can't then maybe time will be the cure. If your happy with them otherwise then don't give up maybe at a later date do a test breeding with them to see if they pass on their problem. I'm no expert though, but seeing as you already have them now maybe trying something is better then feeling you've wasted your money. Hope you get the answers you need. They're very handsome birds though GB.

The Miracle Budgie That Survived A Hammering.
Very lucky little budgie...but he's in your good hands now so it's all good news for him. Your other baby could be mauve but I'm not very good with that sort of thing. Someone who really knows their stuff will help with that. They're both very cute though.

Gf Or Yf2 Or Both?
Hi Nubbly, not sure about his markings. When I first put him on here for confirmation I was told probably cinnamon. But if you think his markings are black they probably are. I was just going with what I'd been told. They are probably more dark grey though if I look properly. He's definitely different when compared to the lacewings colouring. On another note he's paired with the lacewing, what will I get...no lacewings unfortunately but will I only get spangles and normals and what shade of blue will they be? Thanks

Hi and welcome! I too would be interested in seeing pics of your birds, especially your crests as I find them fascinating, but alas I don't own any. Hopefully in the future...
