  9. Cool, I didn't realise they lay so many, the hens must be exhausted after! Good luck with the first pairs egg
  10. How exciting, I hope the first pair pull through though :hap: How many eggs does a pair normally lay?

Thanks Kaz and Maesie Brighter side - got more eggs again and Lady is due to lay again this afternoon Correction - Lady HAS laid an egg and it landed safely in the box Oh, i didn't realise he was the one from that auction. So sad How many eggs to they have each now? How long does it normally take them to finish laying their eggs? Sorry for so many questions, I don't know much about breeding. That's great news about Lady though, she might just get her act together

  16. Wow you're good They sound just lovely I am going to have a really hard decision to make with so many nice pairs
  17. Tell me about it!!! It is glorious here and the birds are enjoying every moment of it These two are my best bet on first eggs She is Latte and Cookies mum and he is a cock i got in April. I really hope he fills the eggs because she is a really good mum and they will have beautiful babies They are very pretty birds, what type of babies would they produce? I am terrible at genetics!
  18. Oh my gosh that is so exciting Must be the beautiful spring weather Adelaide has at the moment
  19. Yes! It's the two birds i got from the auction that are not showing ANY interest :budgiedance: Wow, go Lady ! That's a shame about the other pair. I don't know much about breeding, but 5 of of six seems pretty good

  22. She is so pretty
  23. hello My budgie was pet store bought at 6 weeks and he tried to do the twist escape thing for a couple of weeks when I got him home, even though he came from quite a small cage in the pet store. He also would wiggle under his seed bowl and all sorts of weird things. This phase didn't last long though. Whether it is more of a pet store trait I don't know
