Is This Normal?
I would split them up and see who is the culprit

Is This Normal?
Yes I agree with Dean they look to be long flighted and No 4 mainly looks like the secondary feathers are long also, Double the trouble. If you keep them they need to go with a bird with nice tight wings or you will double up on the problem.

Yesterday my best hen the one in my signature had some kind of turn. I went out to have a cuppa and watch the birds when I saw her on the aviary floor on her side spinning and flipping, my first reaction was to run to her thinking she was caught in something and then I thought a redback bit her as I have had a couple in the aviaries. I didn't know what to do I put her in a holding cage and she was flipping every where so then put in a show cage so she couldn't hurt herself any more. My first thought was vet but it was 30 plus here and the trip would of killed her, it's over 45minute drive. I held her and she was much carmer and I managed to get her to drink some water she looked spaced out and when I put her back in the cage because it was too hot to hold her she just laid there like she was dying and then she would start again. She couldn't stand on her feet. I rang a breeder with over 30 years experience and he said epileptic fit they get the as we do, said it was from the heat and while talking to him she went all quite so I thought she died and when I hung up went out their and she was fine looked a Little groggy but alive. So I rang the vet and he said the same as the breeder and with her drinking the water must of saved her anyway if she does again he wants to see her. She is now in a holding cage with spark for energy replacement and probotic and looking perfect. SO WEIRD BUT WHAT A FRIGHT I GOT as I have never seen anything like it. If I wasn't home and had gone to work like I was meant to I probably would of lost her. Has anyone else had anything like this

Do You Breed French Moult?
Up and until now touch wood I haven't had french moult, some breeders around here that do cull any subject that may be a carrier and There are a couple of breeders believe that breeding in the hot months contributes to french molt and also 1 breeder just had a couple of nest of french moult from birds that have never had it before and said it's getting hot and the birds are worn out and that's why they got it. This french molt is a mild case where the feathers and tail grow back. Last a year another breeder a beginner breeder through the year and everything was good and he decided to breed in December January and all the babies had french moult, So you tell me if there's any truth to the story but to me it's enough not to want to breed in heat.

Show Budgies In Perth
I totally agree Nubbly. This year i have been trying hard to breed good greens not blues because without good greens you get no where fast. And actually I have quite a few nice greens now light and dark but still need to focus on grey green and greys.

Trying To Make A Travel Cage
Thanks Anne101 - obviously, got your vote for my 101st post... will send you my address offline, so you can send me a free bird... From Kaz... maybe 2 hours slave duty cleaning in the birdroom So much love, so much support... mmmmmmmm ... Kaz, I already pick up the kids, clean the house, vacuum the bird room, do soft seed, bird vegies preparation, dust the bird room, set up nice music for the birds, massage them, pluck their bird-eyebrows, work full time, and wait on Liv hand and foot - 2 hours of slave duty should be a breeze. thank you one and all, for soooooooooooooooooooooo much support. lets hope Splat gets her full blown circular saw for her travel cages (and she can send me a bird in one for my 100th post ) Good looking travel box, by the way. Your so funny 007, well here we go better late than never :laughter: Happy 100 POST 007 and here's your free bird
