Thanks Robyn yes the pied is from the pied that died luckily I got 3 pieds and a cobalt opaline from that bird, I do have 2 more in the nest from them but they are small the foster mother didn't feed them probably, one is a dark gren pied the other a sky blue

My Dilute
Well to start with Jimmy I just wanted to breed dilutes but I have been told I would be better to breed grey wings or clear wings and that is why I got that clear wing at the auction but he is no good.

Is She Old Enough To Make This Switch?
I take my babies away from their parents at 6 to 8 weeks old as long as they are eating on their own and that age they should be differently eating on their so yes it would be fine. How old are the 2 males and if they are adults 2 they give the other chick a hard time?

Wow good report Geoff was happy with all of them except one, THE CLEAR WING IS awfull, He said I did well and as for the split lace wing he really liked him and said if I want t sell him I can sell to his mate and make a bit of money on him because he is breeding lacewings but I am keeping him But I do have several young birds to cull mainly cocks that he picked out for me

Look How These Birds Are Turning Out
Thanks GB yes it is true some of my birds take a long time to mature and most times I cull them far to early. I have one particular hen took monthe to go through her molt. I showed her in June this year she won but she still hadn't matured, should see her now so different and wow beautifull.

UUGGGHH Geoffs on his way here to see the new birds I think I am in trouble, he will say stupid women  I told him what I did :celebrate: buying 6 instead of 1 good bird and I am ment to be culling in numbers instead of growing in numbers One day I will learn, I think I might stay away from auctions from now on Let you know what he thinks

Thanks GB, I am going to breed my own albinos by putting the lutino cock with SKY BLUE HEN . Little albinos straight away So Greg reckons anyway and I am sure Ian told me this too Hey if I decide I don't want any of these birds I will auction them on here for a fraction of the price I paid :celebrate: No serious I like them all except the clear wing. That split lace wing could through something special because of what's behind him

Violet opaline hen out of my violet cock and here are some babies this one I think is ever a violet green or olive as father is my shield winning violet and and the daughter of my yellow DF spangle and the violet hen and the violet hen is the mother of the violet. He is going to be nice look at his wide head green sky blue spangle from the same nest Dk green pied and a sky from the nest where the pied their father died Three babies from my white DF spangle that Kaz now owns and I am hoping they are great and 2 babies so far from my other white DF spangle

Rec Violet Mop ?
How old is he? yes he does look that way. BUT his flights at the moment look very tight and neat but his secondaries flights look long and really messy. His head looks normal too, normally they have great feather on the head too which makes you think wow what a bird until they start showing the signs of a mop.

Budgies Hatching!
