It is good that you have your warning lights on mate ... But like Angel my hen she is the most messy feeder - Seed all on her face and the babies as well .... You can get the bird tested to be safe . But my views on Mega is that all budgie have it ..... and when they are at their lowest is when it shows it's true colours .....

Agree with LIV .. Also Keep all the Wet food outside the nest box ... You can put in Celery leaves and Millet along with seeds in the nest box .... Placement of the Soft food should be close to the nest box ... I am sorry for your loss ......
