WE HAVE A POO In the potty!!! No pants on ... and he did it ... Thank you all so much for this idea .. It was fantastic I will be doing it everytime I am home ...... He had a long jumper on and socks as it was a little nippy today .... He freaked out about it ... But I made the biggest fussy every and I had bought a little car for him a few days back ... Which was his present for doing it in there ......

Hey all ... okay I need help .. 3 week old pied baby is being plucked ... I noticed last night I transfer to another nest this morning ... Only to find that the other hen is plucking it now too .. Chick has been pulled out and is in a make do hospital cage ... So I am off to grab some More rearing feed ... I just need to know that I am doing the right thing ... ( ialways freak when it comes to my birds lol ) Cage has 25watt globe ..... Crop Feeding will start as soon as I am hope from taking kids to school I just wait till the crop is empty then re feed - I am gett paswell brand .. Is there anything else I can do -

He is funny with poo's BL ( hahah Another poo topic lol ) When he was in nappies I could smell him a mile away and I'd know ... But when I asked him he would insist he didn't LOL .... Then would want to go to the toilet - But he had already done it in his nappy ... Today's accident he did a poo in his Lighting Mcqueen Undies ( funny sight thought ) - He came and told me poo's mummy - so I took him to his toilet ... and seen this lump handing there : hap: Sorry for the Details :hap: ... The look on his face was funny ...... he said Lollies ... ..... no mate no lollies ,,, Lollies are for big boys who to poo's and wee's in the toilet or potty ..... So he knows when he has done a poo it's that initial step to get to the toilet .... okay so what I will do is the Long t shirt deal with no undies on at all .... And let you all know how it goes ... Funny you mention Hobble and he was plucked .... I went to the nest box today and noticed that the Pied baby had a few feathers missing from the nack of it's head ..... All the babies in there are Blue or violet even mum ... But this one is Yellow ..... I am sure it has been plucked a little I will be checking tomorrow ... As this has never happened to me

I get a water spray bottle and lightly mist the birds down this cools the off a little .. If worse comes to worse and it is time for desperate measures - Get a wet towel and put it on a fan and let the fan blow into them .... I don't know how hot it is where you are though so this may not work ?

okay guys .... This is So off topic. But I am having MAJOR issues with dylan and the dreaded T word " Toilet" After 3 potties later ... He has finally began to be comfortable using this one IT is rather cute and well fantastic - IT has songs and plays music - and says Rewards after doing a No1 or No2 ( lol ) Some sensor thing on it .... So what is my trouble .... He doesn't want to do No2's ( Poo's ) anywhere apart from his Undies / Pull up or Bed time nappy .... He is 3 in April I haven't pushed any issues with him But I am at my wits ends .... I can't remember how on earth I achieved it with Talia as it was so many years ago ... Any tips, advice etc is worth it's weight in gold to me ... Thank you all in advance

If you do not have clean hands yes .... As the shell of an egg is very porous it can soak in all bad stuff especially strep & salmonella ... Always either use disposable gloves or disinfect hands in between touching other eggs .... If you are getting a new male for your B'day ... Please ask that he comes in a cage if you do not have anywhere for him to be .... Best Place is from a Breeder!!!! One that has CLEAN AVIARIES / CAGES Birds are happy and percky - and one that will refund or replace if your new one dies suddenly ( usually given a 3 - 4 day period on that one ) ....
