  2. Thanks Guys No 2 hatched today ..... little red eye heheh... 5pm is the appoint with Avian Vet .... Very lucky that some how another avain Vet has taken place of the one on holidays ... *hope this is a good sign ..... Vet advised me, to bring the nest box INSIDE the house ( would have been easier if she was in a cage and not an aviary )and place a warmed hot water bottle underneath with extra nesting materials inside. They have the xray machine there and will be ready for when we get there ......So that mum isn't away too long I will be taking my notebook too so I can write everything down and update you all on everything .... So I have everything crossed that this isn't a bad thing, In saying that I am willing to do all the raising if the Bad happenes ......

  15. From what know a hen that lays eggs by herself is an OLD HEN!!!!!! Don't remove the egg this will encourage her to lay again wait untill she gives up on it .... I am guess she laid it either in a seed dish or on the cage floor?

  17. Vets is 8 - 12 mins away ... Not long at all and they take appointments so I shouldn't be long??? If I put a hot water bottle under the nest box dad will be able to feed the babies still and the eggs should still stay warm .....
  18. Ook so do I take the eggs and baby out put into another container put a 25wlamp over it with a damp cloth in it ??? I have never done this before ..... Will she reject them when she gets back ?????
