Like Kaz said are you sure that it is splayed legs? If you can post a picture as include the joint to I thought my baby had splayed legs once, But it wasn't he was just too full to walk lol... If it is splayed legs, make sure that there is nesting materials in the box, also a good point which was made to me by a vet is some breeding boxes are made with a Malamine flooring ( smooth finish) this isn't good as it prevents the chick getting grip on the floor leading them it do the splits so to speak,

- I agree if cabinet breeding simple, is best
