I have a bird bath LOL for their seed and a hanging water with a long chian from the roof the water is higher then the seed But far enough away so that it doesn't get wet :hap:

Mb, this is what happend with Angels Clutch. She had 7 eggs the 3 eldest are due to fledge while the 2 that are lest remaining are just getting their down and pin feathers, the other 2 didn't survive and they were the youngest - I had my timing out and the foster hen that i was putting the youngest too, didin't lay! I took a chance and mate i paid for it with the loss of those two.. Just keep are close eye on the Bubs I really hope this doesn't happen to you It's funny though looking at the age difference in the nests

Totally agree with Libby in this James, you need to be certain that you are ready, anything can go wrong with your budgies during breeding - Hens can be come egg bound ( do you know what that looks likes, are you able to treat it ) Hen can not feed chicks - ( Are you able to crop feed a newborn? ) Hen's can pluck their babies ( are you ware of how to help this ) Food gets stuck in the babies mouth ( can you fix this issue) these are only some of the things that can go wrong, this is why it is SO IMPORTANT! to have an understanding of problems that can occur from breeding and a Plan if they do ..

Hi James, You have been given some great advice, but with a photo we would be able to help you with your problems that you are facing. At the moment My main concern is with the Hen that you are wanting to breed with you say that she is constanly sleepy.... This isn't a good sign at all...... What does her bottom look like is it Pooey or green? You shouldn't try to breed with a sick budgie ..

Mb, maybe a more natural breeding box ? If you want to go all out with the natural Theme, But since these were already Captive budgies I don't see that a larger cabinet is important, But that is just me
