All The Budgies
I was going to comment you on your nice pot stand I saw there in the kitchen. At the time I was thinking that, like wine racks they could make an unusual perch setup. Buut, having read that other post, and the pot holder being reflective, maybe not a good idea :hap:

My Babies New House
They certainly seem to be enjoying themselves, Birdluv, and they do get spoilt often. Kali, I thought the roof on this one was really ugly (forest green with an orangey red??) ... but I am so glad I got this cage. I ever I put the roof on it, I will paint it first.

Does Rogue Like Me?
Hi Chris, I am no breeder, so I can't tell you what age they learn to regurgitate their food, but it sounds like he adores your head scratches.

How To Check Chicks
Hi Kerrie, 1 to 2 weeks old they should be handled daily, from what I have come to understand. I would try to take Bubbles up on her offer to visit her aviary as she has chicks in the nest and can show you all the things you need to check. I know you are back at work, but maybe the weekend? You need to check for things like food stuck in their upper beak amongst other things and she can show you how to clear it. Feathers.

My Babies New House
Yep, Cheeta. Even if I had wanted to keep the roof on I probably would have done the same thing. Put on a layer of mesh before adding the roof. The cages are so much more useful being able to hang swings, toys, etc. No way of hanging things may even have been a reason the previous owner didn't want it.

Eat But Dont Drink ?
Hi Bigyin, happy new year to you too. My daughter was the same as you, she didn't think her bird was drinking any water. She didn't check it for a while and one day I found it dry and we ended up with a sick bird with a respiritory illness. The antibiotics for which are dissolved in the water. Thankfully the bird recovered, she now knows how much they need their water!

Baby Got Bath!
There's my pretty baby, Baby! It was so nice to look at these again, she is a little star. I suppose you don't get to be 15 years old without realising how much fun a bath can be.
