Help - Jack Has Some Type Of Mite/lice On Him
Hi Michelle, Most produce places keep some good quality lice and mite sprays for birds. Feather mites can't live off the bird and unlike some mites don't bore into wood (so your perches should be fine). Still give them a good scrub if it makes you feel better and make sure you give them a good spray when they are dry. Don't forget to treat the bird and its environment again in around 7 - 8 days in case of any surviving mites/lice from egss. Feathers.

Wow, Miss Kaz, She sure is pretty! The contrast of blue on her tail is just stunning. It's a shame Bih-Lin herself isn't around at the moment to see the picture. Feathers.

Photo Taking Website
Good girl!! :grbud: The digital part is easy, just about any company can get that bit right, but a flash camera with a crappy lens is crappy. The cheapest of cameras with a good lens is GREAT. This has meant that a lot of non traditional camera makers, like Samsung and Panasonic, have come on to the market and because they aren't really into lens technology they have outsourced their lenses, putting in Schneider and Leica lenses. You couldn't ask for better. Great site, Elly. Feathers.

The Twin....steel .....growing Up
I will try but she is devoted to the nestbox and her six eggs. Steel helps her incubate too. That's okay Kaz.... I figured you might take a photo when she has fledglings. Feathers.

My Budgies
Hi Toffeefluff, I see that your photos are on Photobucket, you should use the edit function and resize them to a suitable size to show on this forum. i.e. 450 x 450 pixels or less. I am a lazy forum member, if there are more than one or two links I can't be bothered opening them. My theory: If the poster is too lazy to resize them, I am too lazy to look at them! Feathers.

My Latest News:
I have been trying to find some articles on what's best other than Lutino, to mate with TCB's, I'm sure I had an article from a breeder, but so far haven't been able to find it as yet. I had a bit of a think about my pairing, Norm, and I have put texas CB Cammie with one of my male lute's. We will see how it goes! I really love the last bird that you posted... and the dusks are really nice too. Feathers.

My New Boys - Benny & Charlie
Hi There, I love your budgies... they are gorgeous. I'm not sure exactly what colour the ring is that Charlie has on, but if it is a club registered budgie breeder check the colour and match it below, this would be the year he was born. The year would also be on the ring after the letters. 2002 Black 2003 Red 2004 Blue 2005 Purple 2006 Gold 2007 Green 2008 Black Feathers.

Breeding Ray'n'bo
Sammy, Good luck. Ray 'n' Bo is so sickly cute that it is gorgeous! You were lucky that she didn't show up any illnesses during her short quarantine, or an ongoing illness with your existing birds. THAT could have been disastrous. Feathers.

Hi All!
Oh my gosh!! Nick Nack.. get back in your box!! Hi Jen, Firstly, it is perfectly acceptable to just string Nick Nack along and not really make him a cake. We all do it! Welcome to the BBC forum. We'd love for you to be ale to show off Tizzy, so feel free to add as many photos as you like. I'd be a bit concerned about Tizzy with such a protruding breast bone. She may have been put into the shop too young and isn't eating properly. Do you know if she is cracking seed and actually eating it... or does it just look like she is playing? Perhaps you can try some soft food, like soaked bread or an egg food mxture. Even a commercially available 'egg and biscuit' mix could be good. Some little ones can get a bit depressed when they are taken from their parents too early and stop eating. So rather than be worried about what she is and isn't eating just yet just make sure she is actually eating. We can help with age and sex from photos, but try to get a good clear shot of the cere (nose) for us to sex her. Welcome aboard. Feathers.

The Great Peppermint Heist
hmmmm, wheelchair in freewheel mode... I think it is going to like them thar' hills... shame about the blue stuff at the bottom..... methinks I should wear a lifevest and add flotation devices to the chair in preparation.... You're on, Lib Did you know that they all do less than 10klm, because if they go any faster you need a license to drive them Feathers. oh, and if I am going in freewheel Kaz can have the fast chair.... I don't think it will make any difference... I'll either break two bones or three

Kazumi Gets Ready For Show
I know... he sure has changed from this little baby face, hasn't he? BEFORE MOULT Some things never change though... he still does this.... Strangely enough I imagine it feels the same as when we have a scratch especially after they eat cake!! Maesie, Kazooms makes it really easy, he is totally comfortable around me, so once he starts preening he will keep on preening... even a flash makes him just look up and go 'oh, that thing again!' Having an SLR with a fast lens means I don't miss a lot. He has, huh! He's a gorgeous boy! Typical boy, got a bit hormonal, but still gorgeous! Thanks for all other comments Libby etc... Featehrs.
