  7. Yes this is the real Buddie Bird. He is very happy and appears to like it out of his cage more than in as he is always singing and preening himself when he's out, and loves singing in the rain I just need to keep working on SWMBO about getting an aviary in spring Steve ah gotcha

lol, today which just happens to be April 24th, look what l woke up to this is the view from my bedroom window, the rectangular spot you see that the snow has melted is where my vegetable garden is. we where lucky that we missed the big snowstorm that hit Calgary and Edmonton. we just got a sprinkle and the snow will probably be gone by tomorrow or the next day.
  12. Congratulations!!! What a beautiful little Boy

  14. what you are doing is fine. l usually will clean my budgies cage every second day too. Molting is when they will lose there old feathers and they are replaced with new feathers. they will molt a couple of times throughout the year, some times it will be a light molt and then a heavy molt.
  15. l'm sorry to hear about what happen to your other budgie He is really nice looking, does he have a name?

  24. Patience is a must when trying to tame budgies. they do not always do what we want them to do. as for the cage, you are right that the reason he keeps flying to his cage is that he feels safe. when you take him out of the cage try to take him into a different room where he cannot see his cage, or if it is possible maybe try moving his cage into another room so you could have him in the living room with you and he will not be able to see his cage.
