Thanks everyone Yes, l got him quarantine in another cage, it is a small cage but it is only for the quarantine. After September 13th, If all goes well, he will join Willow in her much bigger cage

I noticed my budgie was a little alone and did not seem to be happy. So today l went to a local bird shop and looked at some budgies. I spotted a feisty little one and took him home. The cere is a purplish color so l believe he is in deed a male. His head has a pale yellow colour. l believe he is a yellow face type one cobalt/maybe violet not sure , normal budgie. My sister named him Blueberry.

Looks female to me but it is just a guess it is hard to tell for sure. Like Kaz has mentioned,it is very hard to tell from far away.
