You are not cruel to only keep one budgie, there are alot of people who only have one and their budgies are happy and content. As for the tameness, each budgie is different, some will tame very fast and for others it will take time and patient. I would reccommend reading the tamining and bonding sections and also in the FAQ'S here is a link to FAQs.

What you have described in doing is right and l'm sure the budgie is happy that you have found him and is being looked after well.

Hi everyone! Today l upgraded my old fuji fine-pix digital camera that is 11 years old, it started to take pictures with some black lines l loved that camera but l also love my new one. It is a canon T3 DSLR Rebel and it is red Well needless to say, l took some pictures of my buds, Blueberry oh no, mom has a new evil camera. I just love how this camera picks up the colours. I can now tell that Blueberry is in fact a cobalt blue.

Here is a picture of them cuddling before bedtime tonight. I realize it isn't the best photo, l used my phone.
