  1. okay, thanks Nerwen. Cool it's on-line - it saves me some money
  2. Thats really good info Daz . Is "master breeder" a book? I can't open the link. Please can you tell me the writer, maybe I can order it. I'm looking for a good book. Thanks a lot
  3. I hope Noah will get better soon . It sucks when parents don't want to take you to the vet - I have this problem with my husband sometimes - he thinks I take them to the vet too often (and soon we are moving even more far away from the vet ) It's good, that Ozzie feels better and is back with his friend - he must be so happy Hope they all going to be okay soon Bea
  4. Just to let you know, my Giny is okay now. It was probably hormonal as the vet said :offtopic:
  5. Congratulations feathers !!! That's really good :offtopic:

  7. okay, thanks Daz :glare: . I'll try to find a good one
  8. The picture number 9 is really cute - where Mars is cuddling Tobie :ausb: . It looks like Mars wants you to take a picture of him and Tobie so badly
  9. I'm afraid to put it straight on the cere. I don't know the name of the oil my vet is giving me, I'll ask her, maybe it's the same staff you have. I don't buy the whole bottle, she always gives me some in a small syringe (with no needle of course), it's easy to use it then. I asked about olive oil before, my husband thinks olive oil could be dangerous - he said it has some acid in it, which could hurt birds. He thinks sunflower oil could be better to use. It makes sence to me - budgies can eat sunflowers, but don't eat olives I'm just trying to find another option (cheaper maybe  ). But I guess I would have to put the normal oil straight on their cere :ausb:
  10. Congratulations  !!!

  18. Naughty Blinkie !!! I also thought it was one of your tiels. It looks like a big bite :rip:
  19. Daz are you using the baby oil an their feet only or can you use it an their beak too? I always get some oily liquid from my vet (she said I can put it on the big vein under their wing, if I'm afraid to put it on their beak - it could get in their nose she said) I've read about using baby oil, but can I use it for beak?

I'm so sorry lovey. It must be very hard time for you and for Merlin too. You both lost a friend. I'm really so sorry. Rest in Peace little Pretty :rip: :angel1:
  23. She doesn't do it anymore. She had some dirty looking feathers before, but she's cleaned herself up and looks okay. She was eating seed mix, celery, some washed grass, parsley, carrot and apple in the past couple of days. Same as the rest of my budgies and tiels. And they are all okay. They are not any clusters of seeds stuck on the cage bars or the wall. I could see her spitting some seeds the day before yesterday, but not since. She could't eat any dangerous plants, I have them on the balcony - far away from birds. The water was okay, not dirty. I put some special acid liquid (for parrots) into their water, it should be antibacterial, helps their digestive system, etc. - I think it's good for their bellies. I can't take photos now, our camera is broken (I dropped it :hap: ). I think she is okay now, I'll watch her for some time and take her to the vet if she does it again. Thanks a lot for your help
  24. That would be cool Bubbles :hap: . I would love to get peppermint tree too. I think "eucalyptus camaldulensis" might be the common one in australia (looks similar to the trees I've seen on some australian pictures with budgies sitting on it). But there are so many kinds, so I'm not sure about it.
  25. I love the 1st one :hap: . It's a boy, isn't it? Beautiful !!!
