Recessive Pied Gender
It looks female to me. But I would think by 18 months it should have turned brown or beige at least once.

Breeding Cages
My 3 breeding cages have grate bottoms. Much easier to keep clean.

Little Drowned Rats!
So funny!!!!! Love wet budgies and those pictures are awesome!!!

Bluebelle
So pretty - I love the flecking. She has a wonderful home and I'm sure she'll do great in the aviary with the modifications.

More Of Wylie And Star's Babies
They really do grow up so fast. I find waiting for the colours the longest - and then whammo they are fully feathered. I really have enjoyed my breeding experience so far. A few stresses but so many joys.

New Budgies From Show Breeder
Very nice. Lots seem to have that flecking. Isn't that considered a "fault". I would take em all in an instant fleck or no fleck :budgiedance: I really like the yf in second picture. Is it mauve or grey?

Green Stuff

Male For Female?
I think male Kirby. It would be more white all over if female.

Oh, so cute! Are they all male. The green bubs sure look male in that picture. The lutino kinda looks female but hard to tell.

More Of Wylie And Star's Babies
Just a few more of my babies. Baby 1 is now 28 days old. She is almost completely feathered and starting to nibble on food. Baby 2 almost fully feathered as well. This baby is quite timid and cowers in the corner a lot. I'm working with him trying to build up his confidence. He is 26 days old. Baby 3 is quite the character at 24 days old. He has been spoken for by someone I work with. I would love to keep him but I can't keep them all . He is going to be stunning as an adult. I've been saying he is a dilute but his body colour is as bright as the yellowfaces so I'm not sure. Baby 4 is 22 days old and looks just like baby 2. I think male but still not 100% sure yet. And baby 5 at 19 days old is just a doll. He is so confident. He'll make a fine pet for my sis. The gang. Checking out some nibbles - pellets and seed. I hope you enjoy.

Pics Of The "winter Box" In The Aviary
Funny to hear winter and Southern California in the same sentence. I think the box is a great idea. My babies would have to come in for the winter. It's just too cold here.

Just Plain Cute
More pics will be coming today... I have some major cage cleaning to do so they will be out and about. I'm not naming these bubs Phoebe . They are going to new homes :(. The third bub (dilute) is going to a colleagues mom and she wants to name him Petey. So I'm starting to call him that. But others are just baby for now.

Just A Few...
Precious looking well.... precious Kito saying, "What's up with this new cage?" Sylvester being all studly. Max out for a break from mom and babes. He looks like a baby in this picture. But gets cheeky here.
