Wylie and Star's Baby 4 and 5 are the only ones left in the cage with Wylie. Baby 4 Baby 5 Babies 1, 2, and 3 have moved in with Precious. Kito's colour is super bright right now. My darling Sylvester Flavius - moulting so scruffy - but still cute.

Mine love corn too. I have one that is so bananas about it she eats cob and all. She wears the feathers around her cere off when she does it. Crazy bird!

OH MY! What is it about today? I just went through the same thing this morning. Fortunately after 4 hours of searching I found my baby. She was in the pantry behind some cereal boxes. I had looked on all of the shelfs earlier but didn't see her. It wasn't until I moved the boxes that I found her. I REALLY HOPE you have a happy ending like me!

Elly, I can't think of anyone I'd rather have one of my babies than you. You are an awesome budgie owner. Too bad about that border thing And those thousands of miles.

Star and Wylie's babies have all been spoken for. Their new owners are anxiously awaiting them. How old should they be before they leave Wylie. The oldest is 39 days. I don't want them to go until they are absolutely ready, but I also know that the sooner they are with their new owners the more they will likely bond.

She's safe. I had checked the pantry this morning because Lucas said he saw here there. I didn't see her. I even pulled all the junk out at the bottom thinking she might have fallen behind. After reading your message Feathers, I decided to check again all the cereal boxes thinking she might have fallen in one. I found her behind a couple of boxes on the top shelf. Thank YOU!!!! I am so relieved. I am going to be fanatic about those cage doors from now on. One sticks open and I usually get it but I guess I missed last night. What a morning. But a happy ending!!!!!

Agh! This morning Lucas came running up to say a bird was flying around. I came down immediately but I can't find her. I have been looking for 4 hours now. One of the little doors on her cage was open and she, Wylie, and one of the other babies got out. Wylie and Baby 3 are safely back but I can't find Baby 1. I've checked closets, behind washer, dryer, fridge, behind piano, under furniture. I just can't think where else to look. I put the cat outside. I think I'm going to put some of the other birds in a cage in the living room. Hopefully if they are calling to the flock it may get her calling. Back to searching!!! I pray that I find her. I feel so sick.

Tweety and Max's Baby 1 - so cute and such a lovely colour. Their baby 2 is going to have a really pretty colour on its back. All babies seem to have the dark factor from dad - even though two are dilutes. Baby 3 has a tiny little headspot like dad Max. So cute. I think Baby 4 will be coloured similar to Baby 1. And look at the bigger babies - in with Precious.

Sadly not so much. She isn't afraid of me and will come on my finger or a perch but she sure doesn't want to just sit with me. She'd rather be off flying. I guess I can't blame her. I thought about clipping her but I'm not going to bother as she is not that hard to get back in her cage when I need to. She has amazing control with her flight - much better than the others. I wonder if that is because she has never been clipped? The others are good too but she seems to have a great ability to hover.

Precious with Star and Wylie's Baby 2, and Kito, Sylvester and Max. Such a great mix of colour. The same gang with Star and Wylie's Baby 1 Precious, my little Princess Hanging out Precious following dad around - although she doesn't like him much now. Tweety and Max's Baby 1 - maybe violet opaline Baby 2 with long soft creamy tips. Baby 3 and 4 also seem to have the creamy colour Enjoy!

Do you think one of the other birds might have nipped at his foot. This happened with one of my birds - nipped toes. Nothing serious but the bird favoured it for a bit.

I just love this picture of Tweety. I love this one of Jewel with her eggs. And this one of Kito having a snooze. Precious as a baby. And a little older . I have lots more but I'll start with these.

Looks like a male to me. Jewel is a creamino hen and her cere doesn't look like that. I'd love to get my hands on a creamino male. Best of luck breeding the two.
