Glad it went well. I love your creamino. Quick question about your cage - how wide is the bar spacing? It looks a little too wide for budgies in those shots.

If you want I can send the picture to Nerwen on the other forum for feedback. There is also another member on that forum very knowledgeable about budgie mutations. I would like to know too. I thought all budgies without iris rings were recessives.

Well you know what I think of spangles - they are all beautiful! I'm thrilled with my little spangle girl even though she is poorly marked. So what do your four new ones look like???

I think it depends on what you want. If you get a green that isn't split for blue, you will get all greens. You could buy from a breeder to be sure. If you want some spangles then you will definately need a spangle. Yellowface would be nice too. Lots of choices!!!!

Well here are some shots of the birds in the playgym. Jewel checks out the seed dish I tied on. She was more interested in the rope than the seed. And she peeks out at me from behind a branch. Sylvester chews on one of the twigs. Max takes time for a little fluff. Wylie and Sylvester chewing. I let 5 of the more tame ones out to play together.

Such a pretty bird. Nice picture. I agree with the others. It is best to have the other wing clipped and then allow them to both grow in.

No yellow. She just needs a bath I'll give her a few days though. She's doing a lot of preening as I type so she may be able to take care of it herself.

I think it sounds like an amazing deal. I paid $85 Canadian for the 24 inch one at a petshop. Man did I get ripped off!!!! I think some of the forum members here have bought cages on ebay at really good prices.

Phoebe, can you get a closeup of her wings? She reminds me a little of Tweety and a little of my newest bird Bella. But hard to tell for sure at that distance.

Oh good, I didn't miss it. I was in Montreal for 4 days so thought I missed the pics of the grand introduction. Can't wait!

Can dominant pieds have bright orange beaks? Hers is orange and of my 11 other birds the only ones with orange beaks are my recessives. She is at least 6 months old (I am assuming) and doesn't have an iris ring.

I'm tossing around the name Bella right now. I can't use Juliet because I already have a Jewel who was bought at the same time as Romeo.
