Welcome to the forum I hope you find it as interesting and resourceful as I have, as for your birds do you know their ages, sexes (for definate) Where on the cage is your nest box placed? Also they may not be in breeding condition so therefore arent showing interest in breeding as of yet. Do you have any photo's? Jodie. Link to comment

Are you trying to breed your birds? That's the only reason you need a nesting box. If you are trying to breed, your birds should be at least a year old, and in good breeding condition. The hen's cere will be brown and appear flakey, the males is usually a bright blue, depending on the mutation. They should have nutritional supplements before adding the nest box, so they're in good condition to raise a family. There is lots of great information here, check the FAQ's for breeding. How long have you had them? How long has the box been there? Do you know they are both of breeding ages? You said you THINK you have a male and female, You should get that confirmed before moving onwards with breeding Link to comment
