So now, with 5 chicks in her nest and only one in the Grey-Green and Blue pairs' box, I fostered the oldest two from the green cinnamons. So three chicks in each now. Link to comment

Another chick has hatched form the Green Cinnamons, but another had died The youngest died, I think it was because she had the 5 in the nest. Another chick has been banded also. Photo's soon.... When I got back, I was VERY excited. In the oldest three's nest ( 2 fostered from green cinnamon pair) I have the two fostered chicks : Light Green Cinnamon Opaline split blue (I think) and a Sky Blue Cinnamon Opaline. The one chick from the blue/green pair is a cobalt (or mauve) normal, split opaline and cinnamon (I think) . In the green cinnamons nest, her other two chicks are: Sky Blue Cinnamon Opaline and Light Green Cinnamon (split oplaine I think). Their 6th chick died the other day, parents weren't feeding and when I got back it was very skinny. I assume seomthign was wrong, and it was at a stage where I couldn't afford (time) to hand-rear. Pictures in half hour or so Link to comment
