I do not your hean is a grey-green, instead i think she is an opaline Texas Clear Body. Norm could telly you better, but that is my opinion. Love the 3 young from pair 5. All are going to look like Dad. Very cute. Who are the parents of the Yellow faced Violet and the greens? Not pair 5 obviously. Edited April 6, 2008 by Elly u is not an approved shortcut, approved shortcuts can be found in the board guidelines thank you for understanding since there are members from all over the world it can get confusing. Not certain what the cock in that pair is ...could you help me out on that please. Also what would be the best color to pair up the opaline clearbody hen with next breeding season. I am new to the breeding only taken over since my Dad died in December, hope to make him proud. Anyway..thanks for all the help I really do appreciate it...I'd not know what I have if it wasnt for the help of all of you ....so thanks to all Edited April 7, 2008 by sueannleach Link to comment

A double factor yellow face looks white faced in a blue bird if i am right. But since the parents pass on one gene, that would mean that all the babies would have yellow faces, and those that look like dad obviously do not. help any genticists? Link to comment
