  1. Yeah Ive already looked but I'll keep on looking I wanna get registed somewhere and ordinary vets are pretty useless with birds - no offence to them they are fantastic with none bird animals!
  2. Thanks Andy - I couldnt find any myself - these two are still a good hour and a half away which really sucks if your birds get ill eh?
  3. Thanks Pixie, you will see a picture of him on the pics forum but he seems to be fine now eyes are back to normal I guess maybe he was rubbing them too much.

  7. Its not actually the eye its the surrounding area and isnt sore maybe its part of his first moult and he isnt acting strangely - I think I will keep an eye on him for a couple of days see if anything changes - I think Im getting paranoid after Suki died last week!
  8. I am assuming by my no replies that either nobody has heard of this or I am worrying about nothing - would appreciate if someone could put my mind at ease though.
  9. One of our budgies Georgy who is about 3-3/12 months old I have noticed this morning that round his eyes (not actually in his eye - the eyelid surround area) seems to be a lot darker than it usually is - he is happy enough and eating but just wondered if this is something to be concerned about Ive not heard of it before.

Candy likes playing with his mirror ball on the floor and his ladders - Patty has NEVER been on the floor - Georgy does when patty flings him on the floor - and new edition Bobby only has by accident when he has fallen off his perch!

I spray mine with a fine mist once a week Candy likes it and stops his moulting itching for ages but Patty hates it and gets all grumpy - I have yet to try it with Georgy as he is still settling in! None of my will bathe in a bath or saucer.

Im having a few jealousy problems with Patty and Georgy they have just finally been introduced to the same cage and when I put my hand in to stroke Georgy Patty attacks him and moves him out of the way so she can be stroked even though she hates been stroked - she also flung him out of the cage the other day but he keeps going back to her - he only wants to be friends and I think deep down she likes his company.

I am wonder if you can get perches that you can maybe attach to the walls or hang from the ceilings - I dont really have a lot of high spaces to for Candy to perch on and I havent seen anything like what I am looking for in the pet stores. Any ideas what I could use?
  25. I know aerosols and plug ins are out of the question but are there any I can use which wont harm my babies?
