  1. They are cuties Robyn.
  2. I vote on this for the month of MAY, if anyone doesn't have any objections.
  3. little cutie isn't he. I say male too.
  4. Nice budgies you have there. I totally agree with what L__J had to say, it is very likely that he could be shooting blanks. But that is not for certain, they could just be breeding incorrectly e.g. the females vent was covered by the feathers, or the male was just having some casual mating (for fun).

Hello Daz, I was wondering how long have you been breeding budgies for? Also do you have any tips on breeding budgies? I always like to know other peoples stories on breeding budgies. Are you going to completely give up breeding or what, as I saw you building the bird house and I thought that you did a great job on that.
  6. okay, so Robyn is the winner as no one else voted. We are now doing the month of May. So as you all know just put in RE:MAY. I look forward to seeing your next entries.
  7. Well I know that a female is getting on at abou 7 years maybe younger. Correct me if I'm wrong. But I don't think it matter too much for a male. You will definitely need to check with someone with more experience. Before doing anything. There was not picture of the grey male.
  8. Have you got any pics of the birds?
  9. I'm going to have to say Robyn's too. If anyone else wants to vote do so please in the next 12 hours. As I need to put this on the calendar and start MAYS competition. Other photos where great but, Robyn's was the most stand out to me.
  10. Sure thing A mum 4 children, just not the ones that have allready won. okay now we vote, just name the person and we will see who wins.
  11. Hi W brown, welcome to the forum. Your best bet to find out this information is to wait for someone which could take a while at this time of year, as I know I haven't been on for 2 weeks or more. So you might need to be patient. Good luck though.
  12. Sorry, I live way to far away.
  13. Come on guys we need to put more pics up and vote. PLEASE...
  14. next time you breed, just remember to not colony breed if you are (which is having alot of sexes of budgies in the same cage). agree with L__J
  15. If only its tail feathers come off it will be fine, my younger sister once caught the budgie the same way and got all its tail feathers. it lived and no side affects. To me it looked like a quale.
  16. you have a fare few, I am hoping that my eggs of my second female (Lilly) will at least hatch one by tomorrow, as I am going away for the weekend and my parents are watching them. They are quite experienced in that area too, as they helped me when I was younger. but I have the 3 babies (still haven't posted pics and the new female). But I should stop hogging your topic, and say this on mine. good job L__J, you seem to be enjoying it.
  17. Wow good looking setup. Love pair 3.
  18. Here's my entry, I took this one myself.
  19. the image may need to be a little closer to Geoff, but we could work with that.
  20. I didn't even know about them, and I can just imagine that a leg gets stuck and in the frustration they chew off their leg. Horrible.
  21. well it looks like it goes to Robyn, So when you next add a photo add APR in front of it.
  22. maybe if you show us a picture it can give us a better picture of what we can help you with.
  23. yeah you can add from the net if you want.
  24. you could look on eBay or gumtree, they often have budgie books just type the title and author.
