  14. You have some incredibly good points there, but with McDonalds having the heart foundation tick, that's only in one of the categories, and they're exaggerating for publicity, just so you're aware
  15. It's so cool Great Job :D
  16. Thx guys, I was looking forward to being on the positive side but unfortunately, I was put on the negative side. It's soooooo easy to think for the positive side....... I was basically stuck during the whole english lesson cuz I actually can't see how processed, frozen, fast food etc can be thought of positively :/ But thx agian, you really really helped me :) And sorry about asking But I don't really trust the other sites at all (wikipedia, wikianswers, etc) as like KAZ has experienced, people take the wrong answers as the right ones (if that makes sense to you) So the first thing I thought was this forum :)

Hey guys, in English I've got this debating topic that I'm debating for against (I would have gone for but we were put in randomly) which is Fresh Food Should be Cheaper through Gov. Support, and I need your help please I need to have people say why we need fast food, I had the idea of it being what people like, but I can only really think what to debate FOR :/ Help'll be appreciated
  18. *sigh.... and this is why you don't trust wikipedia, wiki-answers and other 'fake' sites...

WOW!!! It's been a while since anyone's posted here, I'm not really sure if I'm allowed to do this, but my birdtricks.com halloween package came in the mail and it came with a few halloween recipes for your bird I doesn't exactly have copyright on the front so I may aswell post them up Halloween Cookies: Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour 1t cinnamon 1t ginger 1/2t cloves 1/2t salt 2t baking soda 3/4 cup healthy margarine spread, room temperature 2 large eggs 1/2 cup pumpkin puree at room temperature 2T agave nectar to sweeten (substitute maple sirup) Topping: 1/4 cup black rasberries 1/4 cup blueberries optional: a few drop each of blue and yellow food colouring to darken mixture Preheat oven to 180 degrees In a small bowl, mix together flour, spices, salt and baking soda. In a large bowl, use and electric mixer to beat margarine, eggs, and pumpkin until smooth and fluffy. Slowly add the dry ingredients to form a smooth, soft dough. To prepare the topping, puree the fruit in a food processor or blender (add food colouring sparingly to fruit mixture). Refrigerate until ready to use. On waxed or parchment paper (WTF!?!?!) or on bench that has been dusted with flour (ahhhh.... english), roll out the dough to a thinkness of 1/4" to 1/3" and cut out your shapes! (Let the small kids do it, they have a ball Bake on a cookie sheet for 10 - 12 minutes. For crispier cookies, bake a little longer. When cookies have cooled, smear on the fruit puree micture and decorate! Use whatever you want to make some cool halloween treats Candy Corn Parrot Popsicles: White: Creamed corn Apple juice, white grape juice or pineapple juice Quinoa, millet, rolled oats frozen or crushed pumpkin seed in with any of the above juices Orange: Carrot Juice Pumpkin Puree Pumpkin Puree moistened with carrot juice Yellow: Mango juice Orange Juice When using juices, you must freeze one layer at a time because they will naturally blend together. Stuffed Jack-O-Lantern: Thoroughly wash a small pumpkin and gut and carve it as you would a jack-o-lantern. Retain the guts and replace the eyes and mouth back into their slots on the pumpkin face. Set the pumpkin upright in a shallow baking dish with about 1/4 inch of water at the bottom. Bake the pumpkin uncovered in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 45 minutes. There are no rules to what you can use for the filling, but steamed vegies, pasta, dried fruits and fresh fruits work well Apple Pumpkin Birdie Bread : 1 box high quality corn bread mix Applesauce to substitute for oil Almond milk to substitute for regular milk 1/4 cup pumpkin seed 1/4 cup almond pieces 1/4 cup millet 1/4 cup dried cranberries 1/4 cup chopped pitted dates or raisins 1/2 cup chopped apple Follow basic preparation instructions listed on box - substitute new ingredients in equal amounts to the old. Add seeds, nuts and fruit to mixture. Follow cooking instruction on box.

And also, do Dog's hate us for putting them on leashes? No! They bond more closely with us
  21. http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index.php?showtopic=14971 Yes, they're safe, just bake them at a high temperature first and then take them out and straight away put it in cold water (It makes any surviving germs die) Then make sure that they're room temperature then you can give to your budgies

Think of it like this, do shoes stop us from walking?, do shirts stop us from moving our arms and necks? No, it's essentially a shirt with a leash for birds, like a dogs leesh

Are you good at painting Flip When he was 4 months old, he won best beginner bird and almost got the diploma, so close. At Kyabram and best Beginner bird at Riverina the week later when he was 6 months old he came 3rd at the young bird shield and was selected as a reserve for the National team. The following year He came 3rd at the Adult Shield He won best Adult in Beginner at Albury, Riverina and Kyabram and Best adult bird in Show at Riverina And this year he won best Adult bird in Intermediate and Grand Champion Bird at Kyabram. Alan Rowe one of the judges said he had great showmanship. I'd say so I've never actually painted well on a pot (probably since the last time I did I was 5) So I'll draw him on first then paint him, also, what are the years of each of his accomplishments, because I think it would be good to list them something like this: 2009: Best beginner, near diploma. Kyabram. 2009: 3rd at Young Bird Shield (YBS?), Reserve for national team. 2010: Best Adult in Beginner, Albury, Riverina and Kyabram. 2010: Best Adult in show, Riverina. 2011: Best Adult bird, intermediate and Grand Champion Bird, Kyabram. Quote from Alan Rowe (Judge) "He has great showmanship" (or whatever they said) If you want me to add a message from you on it, I can I'll pm you and tell you where we can meet (Obviously I'm thirteen so obviously I can't drive )
