Thanks Kochy, I got them from a breeder. I bred budgies about 6-7 years ago for 2 years and had to give them away due to circumstances. I always missed the birds and intended to get some again. I went to the local market a few weeks ago and there was 2 club members selling culls. I was glad to see them there, and caught up on some goss, and couldn't walk away without some birds. Hopefully they will breed for me and I can post pictures of the babies. Thanks KAZ

okay so I am going to try and put up some pictures of some of my birds. Fingers crossed all goes well... LOL I only have 22 birds for now. I think that the grey green pair are my best pair, and I would like to pair them up together. Also I like this recessive pied, he has no tail so he looks short. Trying to find a suitable hen. Comments welcome good and bad I am building an aviary and small breeding room, will post some pictures of my progress now that I know how to do it.

I saw the same in Melbourne a few years back. it was just 1 top breeders selling his birds. There was a guy who sat at the front, and pushed every single bird to beyond $100. I was only an observer but couldn't help wondering, why not just start the bidding at $100. Probably wouldn't have sold as many as people tend to get into a bidding frenzy. ( Me included, EBAY addict ) . Just seemed pointless to begin bidding at $20 when you knew that you wouldn't get it for under $100.

Hi I have just joined the forum and on the weekend i got 9 show budgies. Will try and get some pictures of them for you all to see and tell me if they are any good. I have 6 breeding cages. and a small aviary. I was told the birds are ready for breeding so i have put them in the breeding boxes already. Hope all goes well
