Do it do it do it do it I HATE CATS There area great many budgie and bird owners who also love and own cats.......................hating any creature has to have another hidden reason or some form of childhood "brainwashing" in play :emoticon112: I don't think accusing a stranger on the internet of being "brainwashed" because they have a different opinion to you sits well alongside the tolerance of other members that this forum preaches, KAZ. Seriously though, nowhere have I personally attacked a member who loves cats. If you have taken offense, I apologise. But a passing silly comment does not ground anything like your above remark.

After looking at all the gorgeous budgie toys created by the members, I had a look on etsy.com to check out the listings of handmade budgie toys. I found an interesting store that has homemade toy/perch thingies that the members might be interested in. http://www.etsy.com/shop/AGangi?section_id=5493642 ^^ there's the direct link for all the listed items that are pet related ------ I think they are really cute and strange. Sort of remind me of twisted tree branches! What does everyone think? The materials are all listed on the item description, does anything sound particularly threatening (oh god, I sound like one of those crazy parents that obsesses about what their child is exposed to....!)? I was thinking of buying some and wanted the advice of the members :grouphug:

I have an on-topic related question for the Mods!!! My display name thing that you see to the left is Edie, but my username for this forum is 'ultrav0x' after the awesome 80s synthpop band (I am shameless, yes). I want to change my display name to ultrav0x as well... I checked out the help topics on this and it states there should be an option called 'Change Display Name' you click under 'Change Personal photo' but it's not there. Do I need a certain amount of posts before it will show up?

Double congrats! I am moving into a new studio apartment next week and was a bit skeptical about whether or not I should keep a budgie there because of the air conditioning. This thread has been really useful so far, I hope more people continue posting their experiences with budgies and air conditioners
