Are you going Matt ?Yep , I will be heading up to Maitland for the day , even if it is just for a coffee and chat Hey Dave , Sorry I didnt know you were there, otherwise I would have said hi . But then I dont know what you look like either .This year Our ( Central Coast) club decided to try a different way of fund raising for the club through the Brasea auction , 10 Members donated a bird each to be sold and all money goes to the club after the Brasea commission.I Donated a 2010 Violet Cobalt , he was a young cock bird . Dave I think he sold for $40 .Allup The club got about $400 from the day , not bad for a day out socialising

Like ya Avatar Mae's What happened to leaving things in the past? Time to move on and build one of those bridges Matt, and remember your part in all of it too... not so mister innocent. ... and thanks, my avatar is pretty cool if I don't say so myself Yep that bridge is just about a highway now mate, It was just some light hearted humour for Kaz , thats all. 21. Perfect Sence, If two birds are that close then yes the better marked bird should get the nod , but as you said before sometimes it depends on the judge. Recently at the Hills Annual show , there was a two way split between the judges on which bird was to take out grand champion, one of them had to change their mind to get a result , in this case it is almost a flip of a coin to pick the winner. Thats Birds!! Gb , this is how it has to be , otherwise you could have a pet shop opaline say with perfect markings winning, against a bird of sudstance which wouldnt be right. The only way it can be changed is by changing the Matrix so that composite varieties are not allowed on the show bench , Breeders would still breed them but would not be unable to show. Goodluck though !! getting it through.
