Dave I think he sold for $40 .Allup The club got about $400 from the day , not bad for a day out socialising

Perfect Sence, If two birds are that close then yes the better marked bird should get the nod , but as you said before sometimes it depends on the judge. Recently at the Hills Annual show , there was a two way split between the judges on which bird was to take out grand champion, one of them had to change their mind to get a result , in this case it is almost a flip of a coin to pick the winner. Thats Birds!! Gb , this is how it has to be , otherwise you could have a pet shop opaline say with perfect markings winning, against a bird of sudstance which wouldnt be right. The only way it can be changed is by changing the Matrix so that composite varieties are not allowed on the show bench , Breeders would still breed them but would not be unable to show.
