My Flock And Babies
Not in the case of yellowface albino Does anyone have a scientific explanation why that is the case? yeh! that would be good!! can someone explain ?? as i would really love to know why the yellowface is an exception to a "no-colour pigment gene" (albinoism) and can creamino occur in df spangles??

Psychic Or Skeptic?
oooh wow kaz!! i could listen to your physcic stories all day!!! ... i really love that type of thing especially when someone who is as genuine and honest as you is speaking it... as you feel it has to be true if its coming from someone so honest what an experience it would have been with your mum and nz friend! i wish i could see things like that ive always wanted to. well i am a beleiver, but i can say this ...there are definatley some dodgy "psychic" people out there, that try and make a buck by making things up (total scammers) but i think there are definatley genuine psychics who can feel, see and hear those lost loved ones, and may help you get in contact with them the problem is you just have to find the ones that are real, and speak the truth !! well i guess i could say i have had one experience i think i was 13 maybe 12 and i was home alone in the day, and one moment i felt as if my deceased nanna was there, as if i could feel her presence, it was so odd, i couldn't feel her physically or see or hear her but felt as if she was there and so i decided to brew a cup of earl grey tea, as i knew it was her favourite, and sat down at the table and talked to her hoping she could hear me it is quite a random thing to do but i just hope she was there

i just love this on robyn !! nice clear markings and a cute face, and great colour too! and isnt this one a clearflight GB are clearflights allowed to have clear patches on their chest i understand that it means they have no colour on flight feathers but can clearflight pieds have pied on chest?

What Colour Is This Chick?
ohh... thats what put me off ! as i guessed grey-green ^^^^ up there, as i thought the green was to light to be olive, as olive is usually a more pungent colour but the cinnamon lightened the chest feathers, making me think it was an odd sort of grey-green got it... yep i agree with everyone else now but i was right with the first one, the dark green chick...wooh
-
What Colour Is This Chick?
hmmmm... this is a tough one i think the baby is a dark green is it just me or is there blue feathers through its chest? i think the mum is a grey-green of some form? thats my guess sorry rachelm if im not much help =]

Fallows
wow that sounds so much like what i learn in biology! meiosis and crossing over >> which increases genetic variety it makes perfectly good sense, i like your hypothesis chookbreeder! about how the alleles lie on the same chromosome and are linked makes sense why they are inherited together and never seperate! thanks for the interesting genetic lesson =]

Recycled Water
hey maddy, well i personally have never fed my birds recycled water, but im assuming it wouldnt be to good for them. dogs have a better immune system then budgies, budgies are alot more tempremental but if you want i guess you could try it out on one budgie and see how it goes otherwise if you try it out for thw whole flock, you might lose them all =[ but i guess it depends on thw quality of the water! where is it coming from? a rainwater tank? how long does the water sit in there for?
-
Dom Pied Baby
agreed with robyn, what a lovely bird at the back (skye blue) and sunnie that chick is fantastic !! , makes me want a spangle dom pied grey... or mauve =] i love chicks that look really fluffed up like the one you have i would definatley keep him, congratulations and i think im like you atm falling in love with pieds! dom pieds!
