Wolfy And Dee-mon
hi we are watching bird photos and wanted to go on as well when we saw our photo we walked off untill then we kept trying to get attention we are purebred siberian huskies wolfy talks to anyone all the time thats why hes got his name (hes the red/white one) 9 months old dee-mon doesnt say much just takes it all in and is a bit of a leader and makes sure he gets caught out first by getting him talking (shes black and white) 12 months old in the background is the cat rastus thinks its a dog never worries about birds which is good cause we have some

Crop Issue
sometimes kneading the birds crop helps dislodge food that might have got stuck this can happen if bird eats lot of corn rice ect and then has a drink and because its ate to much of these swells the crop and gets stuck kneading dislodges it helps anyway a tiny tiny bit of castor oil doesnt hurt either if thats the reason but you would have to find out from vet first
-
Crop Issue
untill you get treatment or other answers try using chamomile tea or black tea bags if you havent got that make up the tea for one tea cup then dilute with one half cup cold boiled water dont add milk sugar ect it will give bird energy to help fight illness untill you get to a vet good luck

Box Humidity
maybe winter but hens sit tight large clutch smaller area healthy parents it happens well to me it did occur oh and i had a lot of trouble with the babies climbing out earlier than usual later on to get away from the heat you could feel how warm they were
-
Box Humidity
hi was reading this and was thinking its because 1/ too hot for all of them what i mean is 2/ 6 chicks and then the adults in breeding box gets very warm well mine have done you can feel the heat sometimes when you are looking in yourself 3/ sometimes positions of boxes get more sun heat ect but like i said when you are lucky and have a decent number of babies and then the adults and if they are a reasonable size the hens do this trying to get the temperture down because the smaller spaces heat up with all their bodyheat forgot to mention i fixed mine by supplying a open clip on dish up on the wire out of reach of young babies the hen used to go have a bath and then go in got the heat down they also used to pant a bit when hot before i did this dont know if yours do its important you still have your normal drink container

Lutino Yellow Budgies
thank you she does have red eyes i have bred all my yellow tpes exept for the two on these topics the hens not the male i bred him but all my other hens are going they are smaller than what i would like matt dog the scally patten on wing is just the feather layering she is a beautiful lutino u would get all split lutino cocks also the yellow df spangle is a green based bird mattdog as it is yellow unless it is a goldenface but i dont think so so you would only get green birds unless they both split too blue you would get all spangle out come with normal bird to df spangle (normal as in what she is masking )and i think u get 50 percent df spangles and 50 persent spangles if the lutino is masking spangle oh by way he only looks young i would put her with your biggest best cock and get some split lutino boys for your other lute hens she is beautiful get the right cock bird the chicks will be beautifulthank you gb he is 10 months old i bred him well the birds i picked did he is the only male of that colour i have so was going to sit and wait till he older i brought the hen has the same unknow ring see other posts of mine that my lacewing i brought has that and it is so much bigger than my other yellow sparrows by the way have you seen the last picture of the lacewing and whatever the other hen turns out to be i just put it on again keeps getting lost if you hurry you might be able to help me before it goes of course the one i didnt want on really stays up ha

hi ellythis going to sound silly but i dont know for sure i know my birds when i look at them well sometimes a few supprise me in some way ive got to have a cull of the young again shortly none of my older birds have rings exept the ones i have brought from proper breeders up untill i got 08 rings through my club and used them i just spent time picking what i think looks nice and put them in 10 months ago i was putting a lot of greywing and spangles crests and dom pieds only one yellow hen with a cinnamon male went down for me and i had a few opaline green hens with spangle greens blues ect down ill have a look and see what else ive missed in the resting area they go there after a round it will be so much better with the ring system hope that makes sence yes mattdog im worried now because i brought it and went home put it in with my youngster to take photos took a while i can tell you forgeting that i needed to quarintine her straight away like the lacewing hope it wont affect my male by not doing it straight away ive also put him seperate again to away from my others im gonna run out of areas if i do something stupid like that again as i still have my blair birds and lacewing in quarintine to at the moment oh and she does have red eyes all my yellow hens do just not him do you breed him with her later on then or not Kaz doesnt know everything :what: But looks DF spangle to me too are these good birds to have and are they good to put with that hen please- Lutino Yellow Budgies
:what: guys does that mean its not lutino though i was going to mate it with this hen i got today just had to go and buy it because its got another of the rings on it im having trouble finding out where they are from on its leg did ask shop but they dindnt know wasnt expecting them to but sorta hoping they had sold the rest of them there were 5 all up this hen isnt lace wing its what i thought were lutinos both this bird and the male are all yellow colour no infusion of anything else she has red eyes though- Got The Photo To Compare To Lacewing
thanks guys sorry will try again it says that size on photo bucket will go next one up :what:- Lutino Yellow Budgies
hi i thought lutino or yellow birds all have red eyes well the ones i have are all hens and they all do EXCEPT this one it has BLACK eyes i think its a male the only one ive got going on its beak do you think so its 10 months old do boys change eye colour later- Got The Photo To Compare To Lacewing
hi the bird at the back is the one you identified for me as a lacewing the one in front is the one i need help with now please the eyes are black white ring i found out when caught- What Type Of Bird
thank you my six babies i love my hobbie i get a lot of enjoyment out of them well the only thing i can think of is its a black eyed self as as nubbly says we dont get german or scottish fellows here so my theroy is out lol but i thought as much so birds do moult out darker than when they young sometimes twice their shade if not more by time they adult do you have rec pied and clearflight pied ( which is basically a domanant pie with out the banding ) as thats all u need to breed black eyed selfs i know you dont colany breed but nor do i and i just got two in one nest from pet types blackeyed selfs dad was a clearflighted spangle cinnamon mum a rec pied hen so and i always just thought dad was spangle as thats what everyone told me when i said he was clear flight turned out i was right when i first got him 3 years ago now he was always just with the wrong bird to get anything other than norm/ino and cinnamon hens yah if this bird isnt a black eyed self i do have these pied types you mentioned gb i havent bred any of them yet i will now they are all over 12 months maybe 14 months with the colony breeding im not against it at all but i chose the other way more fun for me all i meant by that is i know something else dint jump on and help themselves sometimes wouldnt be a bad idear probably make better choices than me ha can a spangle be split for these varietys they happen to be show stock lines i was using a few in breeding boxes im not a show breeder bout the time she would of been born i was contrating on my crests and dominate pieds so if the crests didnt show least i had pied birds to look at ect - Got The Photo To Compare To Lacewing
