hi ellythis going to sound silly but i dont know for sure i know my birds when i look at them but not types real well none of my birds have rings exept the ones i have brought from proper breeders up untill i got 08 rings through my club and used them i just spent time picking what i think looks nice and put them in 10 months ago i was putting a lot of greywing and spangles crests and dom pieds only one yellow hen with a cinnamon male went down for me and i had a few opaline green hens with spangle greens blues ect down ill have a look and see what else ive missed in the resting area they go there after a round it will be so much better with the ring system hope that makes sence yes mattdog im worried now because i brought it and went home put it in with my youngster to take photos took a while i can tell you forgeting that i needed to quarintine her straight away like the lacewing hope it wont affect my male by not doing it straight away ive also put him seperate again to away from my others im gonna run out of areas if i do something stupid like that again as i still have my blair birds and lacewing in quarintine to at the moment oh and she does have red eyes all my yellow hens do just not him do you breed him with her later on then or not Kaz doesnt know everything But looks DF spangle to me too :rip: are these good birds to have and are they good to put with that hen please

thank you dean and can you tell me if those pied are dominate i always say they are but have saw some others i would of classed as dominate but read they were resecive by people who definly know them so its made me second guess all of mine so ill start with these please these i am pretty sure just want clarification

doe every plain coloured bird that has a small head spot mean its split for pied i have a green one with a small yellow spot its the green one in the middle its a boy

that looks exactly the same as what i had exept they called them king quail and that colour was boys and the hens were a plain brown colour wonder if same but diffrent names over here the males always had the white bib and far prettyer than the girls also saw them in silver wow

kaz is my blue hen on the wire what you said she has cinnamon

your greens are lovely greens are among my favorite i have some i think that spot means he will throw some pieds i wonder if it means all birds with these spots do

king quail i used to have went very well in with budgies had a few japanese quail not so good they both flew when disturbed frighted my birds made them bang into things king quail were better for me

Its not that they have greywing "in them ".............they are greywings............... skyblue greywing hen and skyblue opaline greywing cock. thank you kaz i would never had thought of skyblue ill have to learn more about blues to now to so they are greywings proper right will remember that they related im not breeding or keeping them

I like the blue chick I was down in the birdroom after dark earlier, vacuuming and cleaning up. Birds had the radio on and were singing along. Just as I was turning off lights I saw these two skyblue babies settling down for the night ( well one of them anyway ) them all what type is the one with yellow and green on her
