im not good at varietys but ill have a stab i think its a girl and a skyblue opaline cinnamon wing but i havent seen markings on her wings as large as they seem to look before on a bird almost like a spangles wings arnt they so could be a skyblue opaline cinnamonwing spangle but i dont know what half mine are so only guessing

It does not have to be cooked, but if you are not cooking it should be soaked for 8-12 hours before giving to your birds. Give long grain, brown, or wild rice instead of white rice. My budgies do not like cooked rice, but they love it after it has been soaked. thank you so much rainbow i dont know where you found information about raw rice i have been looking since i first posted this few days ago i dint realize it would be so hard to find

well guys the bird lived through the night but i ended up taking her over to the vets i tried to crop feed her no go lots of stress food out nostril just made things even worse so over we went he said she was very bad and asked what i thought so she was put down this morning he charged me $25 for avian consultation he said what you guys said that scaley face diesease is fixable in most cases but she had more issues going on he thought she was old to not a young bird suprized her keel bone wasnt more prominent his words not mine and said nicely that i might have put to much oil on and next time god forbid my words not his to cut down the oil anyway i learnt that last night on the forum before my vet visit thanks guys he also told me my birds would be fine and to go and buy some aqium gel antibacterial hand gel no rinse no fuss and use when handling birds one from the other it is great you dont need water and it dries quickly anyway thank you for trying to help me your suggestions were all spot on oh i also learnt i was calling it scaleface and its scaleyface the proper term

thank you only i really really smothered it with the oil and it bit the cottonbud i tipped it on its vent god might have been better off me not catching it i am going to get it put down i think thats the best thing for everyone meaning me and her and my birds how much does it cost to have done never had to have that done plenty other things but not that it cost me 12 dollars to have daughters mouse done after it got a tumour

has anyone ever heard of or saw scalyface on vents of birds before i have only seen it in pictures of birds on beaks or legs untill i found a sick budgie today in my yard with it or is it possible its another effect on a bird with that bad disease pfd or whatever its called there is a topic of birds with this on here somewhere and the bird looks more like that than just scalyface especially the beak bottom but has her feathers even they look funny but not bald still flys sort of

have found a sick bird but think it more likely it was let go because it looks like it has a case of that bird diesease that is on one of the fourms with posted pictures of two birds execpt the feathers arnt missing but the beak looks like photos and also has major scaleface its a hen and if you have a look on my closed for sale ad you will see a male blue and white pied up the top left this is identical to this bird exept its a hen and not mine what would you guys do i have it so far away from my cages its not safe to have it i dont think poor poor thing

i love the bright colours are your king quail laying i saw you have a female and male funny how females are plainer isnt it ive had them in silver as well i like finches but cant get over how much they dont keep still my daughter had some and the only time i got to really see them was when she caught them to rehome ha ha all your birds are all lovely

yes it is because they are keeping brothers company it is cute but im usto my birds flying around not waddling on the floor like ducks lol and sitting down low the aviary looks bare okay i will wait for other advice also your probbly right though no harm nothings broke so dont fix hay hi if they were mine i would seperate them because if god forbids something happened to one the bond they seem to share already would maybe cause the other to fret and die too better to do it now being two boys while they young and strong and can get over it than prolonging bond now i wouldnt want to lose any of them and certanily not both it would be diffrent if they were unrelated hen and cock they could be bred and stay together just my thoughts sorry

thats all right would the water have got into the bait outside and because of heavy rain washed into cage and birds have drank it would explain all birds at once and quick poisioning and death water laying around containing rat poision being the source because all birds drunk it the other dieseases tend to let the birds linger on a bit before they die according to what ive read whereas yours seem to have died straight away going on what i understand
