hmmm. is the bird moulting because this could be a reason for the bird to sleep alot. when the bird is puffed up, check whether both feet are on the perch and whether it is sitting there with its eye closed. if they are, the bird must be sick.

hey im daniela and i breed pet type birds in all kinds:clearwings lutinos and albinos yf spangle cinnanomopaline pieds excetra however iam looking forward to breeding showtype soon

Welcome to the forum!!! it is a good sign for the budgies to inspect and getting used to the feel of the nest box. if the olive budgie is definetly the darkest green you will get 100 % laurel budgies, which is the middle shade of green as you get light, laurel then olive. However, the budgies you might have might be "split" for something which means in their genes probably other colours such as blue, opaline etc. and you cant tell much of what is hidden by the birds out ward appearance.
