I plan to do similar by keeping them in separate rooms. This will happen while you quarantine so really it will be up to you how much they bond. I certainly like the idea that cosmo has a friend while you are away for periods of time, one cage next to the other perhaps? I'm sure all will be fine, 2 well adjusted birds that both love you.

I have very bad news unfortunately, after putting the blue boy on lay by last weekend, I was shown him dead yesterday when I went to pick him up. Hadn't been on the perch that morning and expired just before I got there. He was to be the start of my "super blue" breeding program but more than that had a wonderful little personality. May well be the last time I deal with a pet shop. Most upsetting.
