ha not really takes me hours then i usually lose them all or post them all weird **** join the clud for trying and not succeding you will get their everyone is so good here i got incoraged mabe someone could help you one the addmin i can not but sure they would be happy to work somethingout

we usto bring magies and mud larks sparrows ect up on bread n milk with touch honey but i dont know what a fruit dove looks like dad said sqwash worms up and mix it in with the breed when i saved things always worked sorry but unless i saw a picture i can not give advice best to stick to rearing mix i guess till you can console someone who knows about the bird

i dont want to sound dis couraging or anything but you really dont sound like you want to be bothered breeding birds you say you wouldnt be bothered with their up bringing you say you would not sell birds so i sugest that if you got them only to save them sorry but do your self a favor and the birds and find at least the hen if not all a home other wize if you go ahead and breed not only will you end up with a number that multaplys by around 4 to five or more at a time every clutch but you will have a very time conshuming and not cheep job of looking after them so think about what you really want its not hard to give away one bird but its hard to get rid of a large amount anybody wants to ***** slap me on this please feel free and put me back in line

you are not thinking of bringing her near any of your other birds and please disinfect the cage you use for her unless i could see her i really could not say much more unless she is just fledged and is still to young to feed herself mum and dad around what were the sercome stances of her find ?

now i know wher you are commin from kaz sometimes the toy can destroy lots of hard work of tamming this can be true i dont give my pet birds mirrors but i do still give bells does depend on the bird an idea is mabe keep it for out of cage play like a small reward play time treate

i think all parot type birds should have bells but if it gets rusty ever tosit but replace with same type buy some now incase go the bell

i usto be into photoghraphy although i never really went their black purple orange and aqua blue usually are the colours chosen why not have loose cardbord you can place as you feel depending what best brings out the birds colours ?

no you probbly wouldnt it was a pretty last rezort one lol i was going to sugest that mabe you should cut your losses get ride of all cages (breeding ones ) place birds all in a spankers brand new cage all freshly demited of course then clean your aviry from top to toe with a high grade disinfectant scrub scrub scrub all wire and floor to be cleaned if concret and dug out and replaced if dirt based then let it sit for a good week then spray with the stuff kaz and the others sugested you get all over let sit for till dry then when you are sure all birds are free from the mite release into freshly clean aviry then eithe make or buy fresh nestboxes and breeding cage as mite can hatch again at latter date if not delt with causing the same drama over i in your situation would burn any wooden anything perches the lot to make certain the little buggers did not have a chance to come back but i am a very off the planet type person when it comes to drematic ways of dealing with things like that lol once my ginni pigs had mite and i trancmited it to a pair of breeding birds (one or two bugs lol)i saw them crawl off my hand when i checked on the hen i throw out the whole box washed the eggs as they were due to hatch and cleaned the whole cage i went got new cage and box place birds after spraying them away from all others washed all my pigs and keeped them inside in the bath for a week while i dround their cages in disinfectent and left to dry in sun i washed them three times over just incase over that week before placing them back ivomectomed yes the pigs but after that decided birds and pigs not a good combo as to time consuming i have no pigs now so no risk of cross comtamination drastic but afective awnser to problem i also would let birds have a brake till i was sure that their is no sighn of mite after 6 months then comence with my breeding but like i say thats me i dont think anyone else would do this
