  6. my birds are i belive good considering they are not show worthy i only started breeding again three years ago now and am only just being able to breed my first geniration birds this all does take time i agree good stock and healty birds is my aim and beautiful colours of all typings at moment my young are just that to young till 2010 but will be worth the wait the smaller birds just give me something to dabble with while i wait they are still healthy well kept and just as nice just smaller i have a few pairs ready soon but still a good few months away and two pairs just put down reasontly that will give me nice breeding stock of larger quality it all takes time but everyone is happy with the birds they buy of me so im happy
  7. hey that is good that all the bird are doing well can not want till more photos have fun to your babys are so beautiful that spangle is lovley good job mate
  8. i dont know dave mabe a grass parrot ? just looks weird but like i say never seen a real life blackface as for my revo thing i just breeding for the avrage jo blow so they can enjoy a little friend at a normal price any colour or type lots more are buying off breders and novicts these days over pet shops i just want to be another option for people to choose from i am not being cocky or insulting and if seems that way didnt mean to just see that prices are getting sky high for a simple pet bird i want to change that a bit in my area
  9. well thing is i can show pics of products and well my aviry is half made dad out back as i write yes this late as i protested about the heat my birds needed to deal with on acount of my mum not wanting birds on her pourtch which mind you is like soooooo long i at their home for till april so cant set up my system till then but it will be getting made her i have started already i am a gatherer and take time to ponder my creations as not to waste money on things that will not work how nessasery so up and running may be a few months away but can do procces of working out finall product with of course test runs lol got tubbing 20 meters for 6 dollors and corner bits and a conecter other verious things needed so far spent 15 dollors all up getting filter next looking at industrial and the simplistic fish filter checking all options and prices my birds get freash cold veg and ice at peak of day and i sit and spray the aviry wire for all who likes at moment and a bath i change around lunch time aviry will be moved to new home so wont install water system till then but am making now not sure exactly what filter i need so talking to people from all walks will keep you posted regularly k
  10. well this year i finally could aford not only a new shed to convert to a aviry but i have brought the same pipe stuff reene did only my plans much diffrent water is soo soo precious here water from every rainy day i save even if its just a cup as it feeds one pot plant so i am getting a small tank from bunnings yea love that place or a old milk drum a good quality filter i have no idea yet what type but looking around the pump from my fountain and if needed will just get a stronger one basiclly the idea is to place the pipe around the frount going up and along back down and alone ground back into the drum /tank the pump will cerculaite the water the filter will keep it clean (their will be mesh filters also set up along the way ) gutters on roof to catch water when or if it rains and a safe amount of vin to keep alge away the water will have three options for birds one a half spray mist two a shallow bason with a drain hole filtrated of course coffee filters good for that bit catch dirt feathers and a clear perspects wall just long enough and wide for the birds to flap on in the running water into the bason all this running of the same pump filter thinggy it is workabale cheep and efective just need to clean all filtters so main filter does not get blocked quickly this way they have running water at want no waste the still will have their water drinkers hard to explain but workable will post pics when up and runnig and cost what i used so one for all to veiw at moment im just tampering with diffrent ideas that will be afordable for any novic like myself mb foutains clog very fast will drive you batty and cost more than my whole set up will if i made it twice the foutains dont work very well i tryed that once my idea comes from that experiance

heeeelllloooo welcome pleased to meet you nice birds just if i was you i would seperate while treating dont forget to treat the bird its full scaley face course of action i am guessing you choose to treat with perophine oil or what ever that stuff is if so dont place back till treat ment finished fully and whatch close as eggs can hatch up to six months if still suvived the treatment its all good and quered easily if done corectly
  14. seems their birds arnt so dodgie after all lol i love the a brown hen very nice birds kaz the grey spangle mmmmmm yum
  15. i dont know but looks crossed to me i dont know but i prefer the pie although it didnt look violet but the lights in that place are shocking i have brought one bird their last aug one for kassy one for me and i was desperate for a spangle sky hen sometimes they have a special bird but still i pass their larger birds fantastic to look at and not to badley priced big parrots like conures so on great for toys , cages ect turtles ,snakes everything but budgies im just to picky these days i have decided to cull most my pet type and only keep what you call lesser show stock as i prefer the smaller not large birds but even my pet types are only as big as their bigest birds sorry i think all the pet shops around the south esten suburbs suck for price and quality but hay they are pet shops and thats what i started to breed for again to suply people with nicer biger healthyer tame birds for way less and any colour the one price and a thats as their is so many people i know buy a pet type for pet and it dies or its wings are cliped and its marked up and sold double the price that was rediculess in the first place this is everywhere not your shop perticularly it sucks and im going to reverlushionize the selling of quality healthy small medium and larger pet type birds and make it fair for all to share the love of these beautiful bubbys you can buy good show quality breed birds cheeper than some birds they sell for like heaps theyed want to be goldplated for the price some sell birds for its silly just my opinion and now everyone who owns shops are trying to breed this is also not about you darl or your shop but alot now breed and the birds are getting inbreed its so bad mabe you can breed some nice birds for the people of this world to have as pets to jess you have some nice birds the black face one is very nice it may be blackface i did have a picture of one and looked close but could be hibred also hope not for you its beautiful either way and shouldnt cause problems with breeding mabe just life span and could be sterile due to being hibrad if it is let me know if its a true black face if so good catch looking once again it does seem to be but i have never seen one in the flesh good luck with your breeding and if you want some bubs ever just ask k

  18. i was always under the impreshion that the wing markings were to be crisp and clear the 2 bird i would clasafiy perfictly marked liv but thats me most my spangles i breed get sold if not crisp and clear dark to modaretly dark of course unless a greywing i dont think they should be lightly marked though they should be like lace work delicatly following the edge of the feather in my opinion
