Having experience with french moulters who have little to no wing feathers, they are lucky to glide to ground never mind flying off yeah totally no feathers anymore very sad so kaz what would you do in my situation ,...you dont need to answer as i know its a very personal thing im just trying to get lots of opinions before i actually decide what to do with birds oh will the feathers grow back after first molt will they ever fly

lol that's a crack up i came here to congratulate..... and its me i won so i guess i should give a reason why i stuck a budgie in a cup ... well this beautiful hen is one my 08 hens she had a feather cyst so i had to slice the wound open and get out the yukky stuff poor girl vet told me it was to bad that she would eventually die from it couldn't be fixed but me being me never take never for an answer having the proper surgical equipment i decided if she was going to die then it wasn't with out at least trying so after being cut and squeezed i sat her tail end in a small cup of warm salt water and Bernadine for stopping infection and relief poor dear she did so good didn't even bit me the cyst was huge her feathers were covering so when i got her home after buying and i gave her the once over cause she wouldn't fly that's when i located and found it she is much better now and healthy as although not at my home she is doing well very well and i took this to remember my dear little grey hen whom i really love as i couldn't resist and i thought i would share im glad you all liked it thanks guys i won something wooooo whooo

thought it was time for update on the brothers joey and Herman joey is still just jumping around however i dont think it was caused through french molt as Herman is flying around as if nothing ever stopped him they both were feathered lovely and both went through first molt in my care so news is Herman found himself a woman as has joey only as im not going to breed for a while joey wont be able to have a clutch yet and Herman well hes chicks due around 4 days so .... i wont be breeding joey as his going on a holiday as is his girlfriend to a new home in wa just waiting till next year and the cooler months to arive then they can start their new family so thats it the upk out come if any once it arives i have not candled eggs nor am i going to if the hatch they do if not well they dont time will tell and not long now :hurryup:
