  7. Cobalt cock paired to yf sky hen. cock split opaline and cinnamon. The rec pied babies are from a lt green spangle opaline hen paired to a skyblue cock masking cinnamon.

  11. He could be moulting so that would make his colour change. My birds are in anywhere from 20 degrees celcius to 35 degrees celcius. I would say around 25-30 degrees celcius would be best. He has only been in a new home for 7 days, he will need time before he starts to get used to you and your environment. He will become more talkative when he bonds with you and feels safe.

  13. A few months ago a bird died in my aviary, I found him bleeding and mostly eaten on the floor. Maybe it was the other budgies who ate him? I never knew they ate eachother.

    How often Shannon??? Celery is VERY high in water, and should only be feed in small amount's/not often. It is like some lettuce... full of water and very little nutrients... kind of pointless to feed, in my opinion. I prefer Bok Choy and alike... better for my birds. Lovage... you learn something new every day. I've never heard of it. I also agree with Elly, if in doubt... DON'T I agree with this. I never feed lettuce or celery to my birds, their is no point. The nutrition in them is so low your better off giving them silverbeet or bok choi or carrots. Or even corn..

    I have no idea what a weiro is but I agree with kaz. The cage is to small for 3 breeding pairs of birds.
