Hi, Don't worry, I checked that first! They are all healthy, happy birds. Concrete floors, so no mice problems. He is a breeder, he breeds cockatiels, budgies, rainbow lorikeets, etc. Also, he had a baby lovebird, a blue princess parrot and others when I went. I bought 2 male cockatiels from him, a normal grey and a split pied. They are beautiful birds. Shadow - split pied, is not rung, but Storm - normal, is. He is a very helpful man, and will answer all your questions, and gives you ideas too. Sam

Yep, attemping colony breeding is what I would call it. 6 nest boxes, they have chosen theirs. Can you describe to me in a bit more basic way the colours anyone? Im no expert on the split to pied kind of thing. Will they be pied cobalt? THanks, Sam

I got it! Thanks Derek! Sorry MB. My first breeding cage! On the way to breeding success! Yay! All my hens are going in and out of their boxes in the aviary with the tiels, but I think mice are eating their eggs! Anyone else had this problem?

These greens, they're not that bad, they're AWFUL!

They are great birds! One of my friends I gave 4 budgies and i ended up with 1 light green normal male(Jake), 1 slate blue opaline male(Yoda). 1 slate blue female(Padme - Yoda and Padme are mates), 1 grey normal female(Batman - called so because she hangs upsidedown off the aviary roof at night to sleep . Shes Jakes mate) and 2 lutino hens. And the pastelface cockatiel called Harley. What kind of babies will I get from Jake and Batman? Photos will come once I either find or buy a new camera cord to download photos. I need help with some colours of my other budgies too.

i LOVE them! I've wanted some for AGES! I was going to take in a tame rescue rainbow but then when a lady took it outside he flew away into a tree and so now he lives with the animal rescue lady's place he flew away at and he is happy.

Thanks to you all for your help. I am going to take the lovebirds out and try just the cockatiels and budgies. The tiels and the budgies all get on fine. Also, I am going to try using breeding cages. Thanks, Sam

Hi all, I'm new on this board. I own 8 beautiful budgies and 2 gorgeous cockatiels! The budgies are 1 sky blue and white pied, a yellow face cobolt opaline, a grey green, a violet, a yellow and dark green pied, 2 green and yellow danish pieds and one yellow face cobolt. The cockatiels are normal greys. I am trying to breed the budgies and the cockatiels. Does anyone have any budgie or cockatiel boxes for sale?? Also, are the budgies and cockatiels less likely to breed because I have them in a aviary together along with my mum's lovebirds? Thanks, Sam and the birds
