  3. Well Just thought I'd share this chick is my favourate it might seem a bit cruel to say that but it just caught my love and admiration. And is there any way of telling his/her gender and colour yet or do I still need to wait? "Oh what's this?" "It's all warm and snuggly" "I'm going to nap here a while" Him/Her with her Brother's and Sister's and Moma Lulu's wing Does He/She look like He/She is going to be blue? or is it me? This Picture is just so adorable to me and it was special too, He/she just fell asleep in my hand then my mom thought it was cheeping and I said no he/she's not, but right after she said he started cheeping so I put him/her back.

  13. If I do the first one will Lumina be okay on her own with the chicks?
  14. Hi I knew that something bad would happen I'm absolutely scared the oldest chick who is a week old has an empty crop. It looks like everytime George goes near the babies The Mum attacks him or squawks. I Really don't have the guts to hand feed (cause i'm a wimp )but if it needs to be done let it be. I tried feeding it eggfood but it wouldnt take it. I've also grown very attached to it.
  15. yeah that bit cofused me :bliss:

And Lumina's claws are black And Finaly the chicks
  19. Hi here's an update The pictures The most sweetest thing happened today I held the oldest chick called Littlefoot by my parents because he/she has a really long neck. Well anyway I was holding him/her and he/she fell asleep on my hand, then he/she yawned and opened his little eyes Those beautifull eyes, the great thing is that he/she is a week old tomorrow. There are four babies now.
  20. Hi Sunnie Thanks for the Information I'll try that I pick up the biggest by putting my thumb and my index finger under his/her wings and place him/her on my hand and roll him/her on its back to check its crop and feet. Honestly these chicks allways have a full crop. And how old do they have to be too tell there gender as I'm in-patiant and want to know (also there getting to the age where I'd like to name them)
  21. Me 2 Elly I was like "WOW" when I saw it
  22. they get lots of soft food. And the parents are doing good George is so sweet he flips the babys over onto there backs and feeds them and when he's done he flips them back over and Lumina takes the baby and pulls it under neath her and George goes onto the next babies(which reminds me do budgie parents clean their babies? I see George lick/nibble the babies all over)It's just amazing how much they care and love there babies it's just wonderfull to watch them nerture their young. What other foods should I give at the moment I give Millet in the box, egg food, Kiwi treat stick for George and regular seed.I'm still iffy on the veggies my mom says no and you guys say yes. I only picked the oldest up the younger ones are too small
  23. Here Maesie I'm holding the chick except I was scared for my skin to touch his/her skin. This is the oldest chick who's five days old today his eyes are slightly open (is that normal?) Is it to early to tell their genders or if I get a good enough picture could you tell? All of them in their Snuggle Huddle
  24. Thanks Maesie I here's a picture I took yesterday
