I decided that I was time for me to get a new piggy for Kimy to play with as I started back at school and cant spend as many hours with her anymore.So I wanted to adopt from the RSPCA but my mother insisted on buying a baby, so I looked around and my younger sisters friends Guinea pig had some babies so here she is.... And in about 3 weeks They'll be another. Iv'e also come to the decison that after these pass away thats the last I'll get untill I move out.

I belive George is like that, two of his brothers were opaline(inclueding Bailey) and so was his mom and his dad is split

One day a little yellow faced type 2, opaline budgie called Bailey was fed his favorite food "Sweetcorn" mmmm! he said so off he went to go taste his wonderful food in which he was given. But as much as he tried and tried he still couldn't reach. He jumped, scurried and even flew but he just ended up on the floor, It's useless he cried about to give up. That was until a magical perch appeared right in front of him, Leading him straight to his beloved corn. So he ate and ate until it was time to sleep. random I know but it was exactly what he did and he was so cute, I turned it into a child story....well tried and yeah so I hope you like it....

It doesnt matter now I had her weiged and she isnt overweight she just looks it sorry for bothering you...

Any Idea's on how to exercise her, It always rains and on the sunny days she runs around in the garden and we havnt had sun since her mate Gina died and she's getting a bit porky. so any Idea's to keep her adgile? her diet consists of Carrot's everyday Guinea pig food you buy from stores everyday banana's when we have them instead of carrots some days I go out and grab a hand full of grass and she also gets cucumber and she has two bottles of water one just water an the other water with the vitamin drops in...

I have a cold, Runny nose and coughing and I remember that a rodent can catch humans colds and I was to scared to hug Kimy today because of it. So can Guinea pigs catch human colds?

No I understand, so what your saying is in a week or so if she's not showing signs of sickness get her a companion?

that's what she's getting though I don't know whether she gets fed up of me :hap: and when exactly should I think about getting her a mate, I don't want one for a good few weeks yet

well she's already bonding with me she used to bite me all the time and make me bleed and now she grooms me licking and nibbling, I still miss Gina and Im sure Kimy does too but only time and TLC can heal our pain, Thank you for all your support guys much appreciated Thanks a lot I really appreciate it, dont forget Banana's and Cucumber also do you know what other fruit and veggies they can eat?

Hi about two days ago my Guinea pig Gina past away and her sister Kimy is very lonely and I hug her and Kiss her for about 1 hour 3 or 4 times a day so she's not so lonely....then I put her back for a good couple of hours to eat, drink and to do her business, Which she is doing great. And I'm just thinking sitting in that huge hutch all by herself until I come must be heart wrenching....I don't really want another Guinea pig but if it will help her I will....for her. Kimy gets to have a bath when we get some coal...Im going to sit next to the fire with her in a towel to keep her warm and dry, Also anything that can help her pain of losing Gina go away will make me extremely happy, my friend bless her said she would buy me an indoor cage so that Kim can sleep in my room.... I'm thinking about getting maybe two more guinea pigs male(neutered) and female from the RSPCA, but I'm still not sure if I even want one....
