okay... so what is the genetic difference between pet type and English type budgies? wouldn't they be virtually the same? If I bred ino to ino it would get smaller and smaller and kept breeding ino to ino my English type ino's would eventually become a pet type budgie?? doesn't that get rid of the whole English 'breed'?

wouldn't the colour be blue, green, white, yellow, etc. etc. I get that the "markings" are simply black, grey, cinnamon colouration but arn't they ruled by genetics? For example if I breed ino to ino I will get ino... not spangle or pied or fallow... much like if I breed a rotweiler with rotweiler. But if I breed Rotty to Pitbull I get a mixture (ame with ino X normal) I see what your saying, and I'm not sure I agree, but I don't have the knowledge to pull off the debate (Don't let my wife see this thread she will die from shock, she knows I love a debate)

I've read so many articles on this.. some say it can be transmitted others say it can't. some say don't breed with them others say they get their best birds from them... There are somethings, as humans, we just don't know yet...

Would you say you have a Wells Line at the moment or are your birds still to similar to Armstrong, Gamzer and Frampton's still? Who desides if you have your own Stud or "Line"?? This is little but do you keep your Armstrong, Gamzer and Frampton lines separate or will you cross lines (I noticed you do some line breeding in another thread)?

sounds like splayed legs... sorry to here about that.. luckily a few people have been able to fix that if it is caught early... A quick check search for splayed legs should bring something up... if not someone else will be along shortly who knows how to do it... Good luck!
