My young bird Bella has very strange toes they are bent in all directions, as she was like this when bought i do not know the cause. suggestions on how this came about. it does not seem to harm her in any way yet her toes get caught sometimes and she can't grip properly. :budgiedance: you can kinda see in this photo http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee182/L...et/101_1657.jpg changed to links, picture above regulation size.

My Budgie Petie was just quite simply named that becoz i thought of it :budgiedance: Bella because when i first saw her i said OH SHES BEAUTIFUL - hence bella :hap: :parrot:

OMG i love magritte I love your budgies and i rekon this site is soooo sweet too bad you guys live so far away , i have a fantastic pet shop that i go to its mooloolaba fish and feathers Its SWEET. it has a WHOLE room full of birds and a giant section of budgies and LOADSSSS of bird toys AND they even have parrot leads!!! (Laughing out loud)

I have only had the nest box in for about 2 days and she has only entered it once b my knowing, although she rarely moves from the outside of it, ah i love the sound of a budgie chatting in my ear also this is a new Budgie book,

I would seperate them but bella gets VERY anxious if she is away from petie and trys to fly to him but just kindaa..flops and makes a horrible sound...wings clipped i don't know how she would handle that.

Hello ! i'm Inds I have browsed this wonderful site and decided to join ! i love budgies! they are my fave birds i have two currently ,they are VERY much in love! my female, Bella has entered the nesting box which is actually round like a hole in the tree. Is newspaper alrite for the nesting box, and is it toxic for birds because mine like to...well lets just say have you ever seen two budgies play tug of war? my female Bella is only about 4 months and i have a budgie book that advises against breeding young, advice...? should i take the nesting box out?
