yer...almost certain but remember i own a pied boy!! and the pet shop man said he was a he and you don't have to say i kno don't always trust the pet shop people!

I would adjust your perches to fit two perches front to back so Zeus can flit across the cage instead of sidewalking across the perches he has now. That will make him happier. But I would NOT add another budgie to that size and type cage. When you are able to get the bigger wider cage, the cage you have now will do as a quarantine cage for the new budgie who will have to be kept seperate from Zeus for a minimum 30 days. i have 2 budgies in about the same size as that just a bit more wider...i think it would fit 2 in there if you rearranged the sticks!

i took my budgies in their cage out side for about an hour this afternoon !! here are some shots Bella in the sun! out of the cage (wings clipped dont worry) Petie and his calcium bell bella wants a look in petie nibbling his perch and singing with the other birds! while bella just sits there having a good rub there Bell?

:fear Petie and his ball there is no other freind like it. before i got Bella the ball hanging in his cage was petie ahem "freind" he would squak angrily at it then pound it against the roof and sides of the cage, the next moment he would chater softly with his cere pressed against the holes (i'd like to mention this ball also had a bell in it) once i even found him hanging upside down on it with one foot squaking madly! Now his EXTRA special freind Bella is his "ball" and when i tried to take him away from her chatted angrily at me, he can't talk but somehow i know what he's saying anyone else's bird do anything funny?

same my petie LOVES running water it rained last night and he went skitzo and this morning as well

Yes! nest box totaly removed not a shred of news paper in sight although my dog did try to eat the nest box when i took it out :budgiedance:

yes i have removed the nesting box, thankyou very much and i think i get the picture i feel a little offended i didn't know that it was not a good idea why do you think i asked. i love my birds and i get distraught just thinking about them dying having alredy lost a bird to sickness, hich happen to be one year ago today thank you for all your advice

also if Bella was ever to breed would it ...be passed on to the chicks?
