well lets just say that the council around here doesnt really care much for my park it has got weeds all through it but they did mow the lawns recently so its possible...

yeh ill try too be careful but i dont think they would have because the eucalyptus trees in our park are about 30 metres tall

well today i finally went out and bought the cage and this is what it looks like... its dimension are 22.5 inches x 18.5 inches x 18 inches

hi, i would just like to know what branches are suitable for a budgie cage... eg. eucalyptus etc. thanks

okay so should i give them 2 serves of veges and fruit etc each day (morning and evening) or only one?

oh... yes that could pose a problem unless they are local and live very close by...

hi, i have always been needing to ask this question but it keeps slipping my mind... how many meals do budgies have a day? 1?? 2?? and what time do you personally feed your budgies??? i know that they should have access to seed all day and clean fresh water thanks

so should i use a cage with a towel over it and newspaper on the floor? so his legs dont get caught?

you could always give them to someone in the area that breeds budgies to let their hens raise them??? just advertise in your local newspaper or ring some of the advertisements

just wondering do you have to take your cage with you to a pet shop or a breeder or do they have like little cardboard boxes that they put the budgie in??? if someone like a breeder would answer i would be greatly appreiciated because i was very curious as to how it would work... thanks to all who answer :hap:

thats the cage i was looking at today Kaz! it was like 21 mab 22 inches length wise and 18 inches width and looked good but i forgot to check if it has horizontal bars... i think i might be getting it :hap:

hi, well i'm back form my holiday and am ready to get a cage to set up for my budgie when the time comes within the next week or so... so i was wondering if anyone in perth could direct me to a good cage for one budgie, anywhere between the $35 - the $150 dollar mark the bigger the better and not to far out from perth so if anyone knows of a good cage or where they got their cage from then let me know. thanks

so is an "english budgie" a show type budgie and an "american budgie" a pet type?

great story good luck with the chicks! seeing as im new to the whole bird world... what are the physical differences between the pet type budgies and show type budgies and do show type budgies still make good pets???

one more question... (Laughing out loud)! do you still clean the cage every 2-4 weeks if you put the newspaper on top of the grates, because it seems like a pointless thing to do seeing as the poo doesnt land on the grates???
