It's always the fiddly bits!!! Looks VERY nice though. Smart, clean and gorgeous!!! I'm guessing it would be a pleasure to cook in!

Hi maesie! Yeah, one step forward, three back! nothings changed. Some results on this post http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index....ic=20006&hl= The date on the pics is not right. The camera got messed up when it was changed back from day light saving, so things are a bit more advanced than the pics show. I have caught up a bit on everything in the last month, the kitchen is finished and I can kick back a little again! I saw your pics on the other post. They look like really good sized birds too :hap: . Things tend to go not so good for a period of time, but they will eventually pick up. Hopefully your time will come sooner rather than later. It must be great to have your kitchen finally finished too. It's also great you've been able to catch up on a lot of other things. Kick back and relax a little... and enjoy your wine !!! Good to hear from you. Maesie xoxo

Hi! I was wondering how things were going for you. It's looking good, and I LOVE your meds cabinet. Great idea. I hope your breeding is also going well.
  4. In my breeding journal- Crackle and Tweet Tweet, they currently have 9 eggs. I know two are definately clear, 6 had veins and bubs in them when I checked last, and I'm not sure about the last. So, my question is this. What has been your largest clutch, in terms of eggs, babies hatched and babies raised to fledgling stage and above. Thanks all.
  5. Looks good Liv... my only idea would be to have them on top of each other... So the last sketch, so each one would be 90cm wide, 50 cm high and 60cm long. I don't think the hight being reduced from 100-50cm would be an issue, and having that extra width, would allow more movement. If they were like this too, both cages would have access to the wire side (sunlight/fresh air). Up to you though luv. Can't wait to see what it looks like done and filled
  6. Yeah, Ditto... hope they go well.

  8. Awsome!!! It's all go...
  9. Fantastic!!! I hope they're fertile
  10. Thanks all. I'm home alone, so I think I'll have a nap (with my cat who is sleeping next to me now), and check for 'pinkies' this arvo. Animals have this amazing sense... they just know when you need them

    Brilliant job!!!!!!! Well done
  12. They are very cute! And you have made some awsome progress. Congratulations
  13. Looking BRILLIANT!!! Yah for you
  14. Awwwww, what a sweetie! Not overly successfull. Will you breed them again later (after a rest)?
  15. Well, I'm home and the babies have waited for me... none out of the eggs yet. BUT before I left yesterday, I checked on them, and Crackle had laid ANOTHER EGG!!!! I know!!! = 9. I know 2 are definately clear, so I guess we'll see what happens.
  16. I'm home safetly, all be it tired (two four hour trips in two days does that to you). I can't remember what my last update was and I can't be bothered reading back. My Granny can't have the stint put in until Tuesday. She is on warfrin for her heart, which thins her blood. Her blood is too thin for the operation, so I guess they are just preparing her. I think she's doing okay, but we don't have much more news than that. My Dad, two sisters and brother in law have gone up to melbourne to see her today, so that should be good for her. My Grandpa is doing okay. He is really thin (from his own bout with cancer). He is quite emotional, which is to be expected. It was very hard to see him like that. Mum is up there now until next weekend when my Dad will head up for the long weekend and hopefully if all is well, they'll then come home. Um... so probably no more news untill tuesday, but I'll keep you all updated. Thanks for your wishes and prayers. They mean so much to me and my family. Maesie xoxo
  17. Looking Good!!! I'm so excited for you...
  18. Number 9 was due today... if she was going to lay anymore. There was still only 8 this afternoon, so here's hoping 8 it is. I candled them this morning, and 6 out of 8 are fertile :hap: Just a question... Does the hen know which eggs are fertile and which are not??? This same hen left her first clutch last year and they were all clear. Now, she seems to have the two 'empties' either near her when she's sitting or just under her. It just seems to make sense... or maybe I'm just making it up ! So, for those who have read about my Granny, I wont be around tomorrow or most of Sunday, which will be hard as that's when Crackle and Tweet Tweet are 'expecting'. I have given Dad very strict instructions of how to check the nest box etc... and other bits and pieces... I kind of hope it's a day late so I don't miss out. I'd just feel more comfartable not being 4 hours away, but I can't help that.
  19. Awsome... I'm glad they appreciate all of your hard work!
  20. That is great news! I'm glad he is doing much better...
  21. Thanks for the offer Daz... but I'm really happy living down here. Pity though as up north sounds good!!! Good luck on monday... sounds like you are going to need it.
  22. Well... she is in Melbourne now and will be operated on on Tuesday. They'll take a biopsy and insert a stint to drain the bile out. Hopefully this goes okay and she'll be able to go home. She is doing pretty well considering. I'll be away for a few days. I'm taking my Mum up to be with her Dad (my Granny's husband). We're leaving tomorrow. I'll drop her off and I'll be back Sunday. Then, my Dad is heading up next weekend to be with them all, and then hopefully bring Mum home. So, fingers crossed. Thanks again everyone for your thoughts...
  23. Thanks everyone! Not fussed (unit or house), but can't afford much. I have another inspection tonight so I hope it's okay...
  24. Looking GREAT!!! It's exciting when it starts taking shape!
