  8. Ouch... Hope she gets better soon.
  9. Awesome young adults! They are looking fantastic and i love your photos too
  10. Poor girl! that is A LOT of blood. She will need a good 2-3 days of rest to replenish the blood loss. Use bleach to clean the blood. I used bleach in my bird room all the time... your flight has plenty of ventilation so there wont be any issues with the bleach.
  11. I went out a took a few quick early morning snaps of the new birds. It will be hot again here today, so this will be the best i will be able to get until later in the week ooops cut their heads off  They are looking a little stressed, the heat sure isn't helping. I am watching them very closely 007's Kaz™ perches are fantastic. I have asked he add another three perches to it as there is stacks of space
  12. How about a photo of her, so we can see her posture
  13. Sounds like she is hot... is it hot there today??
  14. And i tested her for size, she will fit nicely in my pocket
  15. Can you post some pics, makes pairing easier as its quite a visual thing as well as variety Those pairs you made would create a genetic mess I would suggest the following: YF Opaline TCB Cock --- lutino or albino depending on cock colour. YF Light Green Cinnamon Spangle Cock --- WF Spangle Lacewing Hen YF Cinnamon Grey Hen --- WF Cinnamon Grey Cock XXX YF Reccessive Pied Cinnamon -- give split recessive mate or normal.
  16. You will need to hand raise the chicks yourself. Visit my cockatiel forum for all the details on hand raising cockatiels http://www.totallytiels.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=19
  17. Having troubles understanding your question exactly. But if you are asking if its okay for budgies to foster baby cockatiels, the answer is NO. Cockatiel chicks, even if accepted by the budgies, will rapidly out grow the budgies and demand too much food.
  18. Not particularly but its not about colour... its all about the bird
  19. Gorgeous Birds! I love that your babies are better than your adults
  20. and this boy is TAME. Sits on your finger every chance he gets And ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE
  21. The birds from yesterday's visits Birds from Gina This is HOUSE This is Greg And This is Princeton We got a bird from Cec Gearing, which we were very lucky to get as he was not culling at all And we got some more birds from Gary Armstrong We want to start in lacewings, and improve on our recessive pieds, so these birds, which are all carrying the genes we want, should help us achieve our goal
  22. This is a very beautiful chick Dave...., me is very jealous!!
  23. Thank you 007!
