Anyone Have A Link To The Show Schedule
I will ring Harley's Chicks and those out of Lemon and Lime, maybe out of Blue but that is about it for this year. If I get any out of Brandon and Ashley then I will ring them as well.

Sport Feathers
I had a blue tounge that got it's toes chewed by a cat and they all went white.

Anyone Have A Link To The Show Schedule
A few weeks (can be up to 6 depending on the demand) but as it is not spring or the start of the year I am hoping it will be quick

Curious Newbie!
SW they show up for me, she has linked them to text so run your mouse over the first word in each line and the link pops up then click and they open a new window. Tess, that tail does look strange but I am no Budgie expert so I will wait to see what the others say.

Sport Feathers
Every new colour/mutation that we see has to start somwhere. One feather today may lead to one feather in 20 years time or may lead to lots of feathers in 20 years time. Either way I know that I am going to have fun over the next few years and learn more about breeding and showing the birds. If everyone said that nothing could come out of mutations then nothing would and we would not have crested Budgies or follows or a variety of colours that we have.

Help Please
Is the Hen getting enought Calcium? I know that this can cause feather plucking make sure she has enough vits and minerals and maybe that will help. Thats all I can suggest.

Indoor Breeding Room
okay so I got a quote last night for the breeding room. Few things came up, one is that a plaster ceiling is not going to work so I have to put cerment sheet up. Also thanks to a pillar and the roof I have to make the room about a foot bigger then planned which means that the little front section will not be turned into a gym but now a storage area, hopefully I can convert it into flights at a later date and put windows in the front. Cages should be arriving today which is good cause I am at Budgie explosion limit, more cause I have run out of cages rather then run out of room in the avairy and I have a few new guys in so can't throw them all out in the avairy, and I feel sorry for the guys who have to be cramped in the smaller ones. Also Mozzie has taken to laying egg at the bottom of the avairy *bangs head against wall* however DQ got all upset with her (that's what happens when you steal another hens man Mozzie) and attacked her and smashed the eggs, yes I know it was her cause I saw it going on and have the bite marks to prove it when I tried to split them up! So Mozzie is in a converted Box which is doubling as a hospital cage with a light, some bleeding around the head and broken feathers but she pulled up okay. DQ is in the smaller transport cage in time out. She got a bunch of broken feathers but no bleeding.... really need the new cages so I can keep those two split up! All up I am going to beat the $2000 mark hopefully no more. Work should start not this weekend but next.

The Black Budgie
So there is hope that we many stumble across one.... I do like the really dark grey ones that look black but then again I have started to fall in love with the dirty opalines and greys at the moment....

Confused Newbie
go to www.photobucket.com and get an account then follow the instructions on how to upload. Each photo with have a code with a [imb] at the start and one at the end paste this into your post and you get pictures. As for where to post them then it's a matter of what you want to know. Look around, there is a Budgie Chat forum that is where most of my stuff goes. Good luck and welcome to the board! ETA - SNAP MB and Norm

Pain Meds?
I am not sure if I should laugh or be outraged! I think that during Molting for a Budgie it is sort of like a womens cycle, annoying, draining and uncomfortable but something that has to happen. As for the Budgie my dad had on willow bark, it took him 6 months to get intrested in a Hen again. It might have been he did not feel steady on his feet or it might have been that the willow reduced his sex drive. We will never know. Dad left him in the flights with a bunch of Hens to see if he would pair up with any of them he finally did and went on to have 4 or 5 clutches after the injury. However in winter he refused to breed so maybe the leg did give him issues.

Missing Budgies
Dad does not like they sleeping attached to the wire in the front corner so he put the rails up and built the tree rail and will keep me supplied with branches for them. He figures that in the winter months that they will be better off this way.

Hatching Certificates
TB that is kind of cool, and yes for big price birds I can see why you would want that. Also wanted to add that I am not saying if you do not do this that you don't care for your birds, I just re read my post and just wanted to make that clear. Oh and Kaz one day you will not have to edit my post

Missing Budgies
They LOVE the tree my dad made for them, that and the rails that are a little on the wonky side but hey they work!
-
Hatching Certificates
I agree Elly. If I was going to get a pet hand tamed Budgie off someone then this really would show me that the breeder knew what was going on with their birds... as a kid it would just be cool to have pictures of them when they where a baby!
